UPDATE 4-16-2020: Rear camera is broken. Would love a replacement.I purchased this camera in order to have some sense of security when driving now that I live in Maryland. Everyone in Maryland drives like an absolute maniac, no turn signals EVER, swerving, crossing three lanes without hesitating etc...I love it. Installation was easy, it had enough wire to be tucked into the interior panels and reach the back of my Subaru impreza.Good things:Everything you need should be included.It records while you're driving, as soon as you start your car, as well as while you're not near your car.Setup is super easy.It has a responsive touch screen with no lag.The field of view from the front camera is very large.The rear camera seems to have night vision (infared) which really helps.You get a cupon for either a mini/micro USB step down line, Car charger, smartphone car mount, or 32G TF card when you open the box.The bad:The line for the rear camera may not be long enough for everyoneThe mirror vibrates a little more than your normal mirror when driving, but its still fine to use.The mirror turns on when you start your car, but proceeds to go to the rear view camera and not change until you turn it on and off sometimes. This doesn't happen every time, but its slightly annoying when it does. Quick remedy though whenever it does. This could honestly be because I don't know how to change a setting or something. If i knew this happened prior to purchasing I would still purchase it.Camera quality: I don't know what the videos look like when uploaded to a PC, but the camera quality seems clear enough to identify cars and people. About on par with my Yi 4k video camera. I have tried reading license plates on the mirrors screen after the video has been recorded and I believe when driving it may not perfectly capture the license plate. I don't think any of these dash cams can perfectly capture a license plate when driving or in poor visual conditions though..I recommend this product for the price i paid ($95ish after the $30 coupon applied at the time).

I've been using this about 1 week now. I really like it. I got into an accident a few months ago that I don't believe was my fault. Short story, no ticket on my part, the insurance company found me at fault and in order to even try to prove myself otherwise will cost $50 court fee, plus time, trip into the city for court, parking costs, etc. It's a shame that we have turned into "guilty until proven innocent." My hope is that this camera will offer me some protection if I get into another accident. It's short money to protect yourself compared to trying to prove yourself innocent without evidence.Positives:-The playback is easy-Easy to hook up-Nicely packaged-Nice features without going too crazy-Easily change over to my next vehicleCons:-Instructions could be way more useful in explaining how to use the feature set. I'm still figuring a few things out, but it's operational and used every day.

I was super excited and seemed to be a good product from the product page but i was horriable wrong.First it didn't come with the GPS unit, second the DC power fried the second i plugged it in the fuse blew on the power cord(it still works for my USB charger) and per the product page is suppose to be a supercapacitor powered but couldn't find anywhere pn the device saying so but the users manual abd box says it's a lithium battery. Very disappointed since the interface and functionality seem good(didn't get to try the gps since it's missing and didnt setup the rear camera for a return). Maybe ill get lucky next time but amazon is orders I'm almost having to return half of the products ive bought the past few years.

This dash cam is pretty good. Very easy to install. When there is light, the quality of the videos and photos is really good and clear. The night vision makes video quality decent at night as you can see the license plate as long as there is light. All functions of the mirror is easy to learn and use. The only reason why I'm deducting a star is because the mirror is this dark blue color which makes things look darker in the mirror when you turn off the dash cam in the mirror and you're trying to see the back or cars behind you through the mirror. Other than that, everything else is good but I would have preferred if the mirror was just a plain mirror.
