Tobin 14 Count Ocean ABC Counted Cross Stitch Kit, 16 by 20-Inch, 16"x20" 14 Count, By the yard

I should have purchased a pattern where I buy my own thread. The thread is provided but the colors and symbols are listed but the actual thread does not have a color description or color number next to it. When there are four shades of red, blue and yellow it makes it difficult to figure out. Wasting way too much time trying to figure this out.

The directions could've been written in more detail for me. The 10 sections could've been made a little more dark than the regular graph lines.

This cross stitch is super good for beginners. Im currently working on it for my son's nursery. The instructions are very simple and clear. I can't wait to finish it and proudly frame it in his room.

This was fun to stitch but the chart was extremely hard to read. I had to contact the company for them to send me blown up charts so I could see the color symbols. They were prompt in sending the new charts but in some cases it was still impossible to see the symbols. I just had to guess at which color to use. It is very impressive when completed. Note: I substituted my favorite lighthouse (Sanibel Lighthouse) in the section for the lighthouse. My son charted the design for me.

I am currently working on this kit and have to say the photo does not do it justice. It's just adorable. Because it's broken down into blocks, it's an easy project to count off, yet the 16 X 20 size gives a delightfully complex large finished piece.. If you mess up, it's not hard to go back and correct. I am delighted!

Pretty design, just as pictured! The finished product is larger than I expected, but I didn't read the details before I purchased. ;) Directions are easy to follow.

Yes. I think its adorable. I bought a different Ada cloth. I prefer a tan to sand color for it since it is an Ocean theme sampler.
