These are NOT Normally Open switches. They are Normally Closed!!
Order these as I needed normally open reed switches. The bag is marked normally open however they are all normally closed.

Several other purchasers have noted this too. When you have these near its magnet partner, they close (there is no 'normally' in having the magnet nearby. When the magnet is away (which, in physics and real life) it is open. I knew these were mislabel, that is, I needed a normally closed switch, so I bought these as they did what I needed. I, and other purchasers, all wish these vendors, maybe outside the U.S., would spend a minute reading any number of sources available to get their naming right. Also, if I am wrong and I have been known to be in the past, someone please reply and let me know (and please reference your source). Thanks

Questionable reliability
These reed switches are very sensitive to the wire leads being bent and causing malfunction. I had to buy 10 to get 2 to work and I am not too sure they will be reliable

You should pass....
Not one single contact worked..... Bought a different brand and those worked perfect.

They only have a 30 day return period.
Dont wait too long to install theses. there is only a 30 day return period for any defective ones.

Half of them went bad after I had installed cheaply made do not buy...
