We've a very old stone house with surface wiring points. I needed to cut a small hole in the top of the casing to be able to run wires into the unit but I assume that's a rare instance.We used it as an over sink light in our new kitchen. There are no two similar shades of white and this was a bit yellower a tone than we'd hoped but that's life. The adjustability of the light direction is excellent so it will throw a nice beam without putting it right in your face when you look up. The finish is lovely and it makes a lovely statement.

I replaced two ugly wall lights with big pictures, and used these wall mounted downlighter to light them. They were easy to install, and work so well that we rarely turn on the overhead light now.

Really good build and quality. Light should be powerful enough for most bathrooms. Doesn’t need a driver so you can plug direct into a mains. Good Matt finish metal. Only downfall is that it’s quite pricy for what it is.

For two days the light worked perfectly. Then the touch switch stopped working. It was no longer possible to adjust the light intensity. I switched the device of at the mains for 30 seconds and that rectified the problem but only for about 30 minutes after that it has not been possible to turn the light off. After switch off at the mains the light switches itself back on and won’t switch off. I am reporting this to the makers to see what their response is. I can not recommend this light. A simple on off switch would be best. The after sales service was just what one would hope for. It was quick responsive and practical. I was offered a replacement lamp immediately it became available which would be a month later. However I chose a similar lamp with a simple pull on/ off switch which I am very pleased with . I would give this a five star rating. I would also give the after service five stars. However the touch sensitive dimmer switch was defective and I would be cautious in future about buying any device with such a mechanism. But what a relief to have such professional after service. I have received a full refund for the defective lamp but of course had to pay for the other lamp with the simple switch. It all worked out well in the end, which was very quick. Thank you Mantolite.

Quite a nice looking fitting but unfortunately the adjustable bars were slightly twisted when they came out of the box. Had to bend them back as best I could without breaking the fitting to try get a level and aesthetically pleasing finish when installing. Shame.

This is a lovely light fitting, looks beautiful in my bathroom above the mirror. Very sleek and elegant.

Bought this for my craft room where it is mounted above my work area. It provides a good spread of light.
