First Tactical Range Belt 1.5"

I've tried many tactical belts and this one is a WINNER!
Not super stiff but plenty stiff for an EDC gun belt. I like that it has a preformed curve to it so it sits more naturally on your waist. i.e. if you hang the belt, you will see a curve to it which matches the shape of your waist. I've had other belts without this curvature and because of the stiffness, they caused my pants to stick out from my waist. That is not a problem with this belt. I've tried the tactical gun belts with the COBRA buckles and while those buckles are very nice, they really are overkill, are very bulky, and don't fit through your belt loops which makes it an arduous affair to constantly be removing and reinstalling the buckle every day. This belt forgoes all of that hassle, is a much lower profile, its strong, durable, and will go through metal detectors so you don't have to take your belt off whenever going through airports, court houses, etc.

Good product
I am a City Police and where a paddle holster on my belt. Other belts after a while start to loosen and look sloppy with dress slacks. I purchased this belt June 2017 and 5 months later the belt is still stiff. Even if this thing only last a year it is still worth the price. I wear my shirt tucked in so as per other reviews I dont fell the belt pinching in my mid section and yes I do have somewhat of a belly.

Good belt for holster
I wear a 32 inch waist in most pants so I ordered the medium. It fits but it's a little longer than I prefer. None the less, it's a well made belt and supports a holster very nicely. I also like that the buckle isn't metal so I don't have to take it off when flying. I also like that the belt is precurved and stiffer around the waist than the end that feeds through the buckle.

It is an excellent sturdy belt!
I don’t go around holding stuff on my belt, normally I just carry my pocket knife in a sheath and that’s it. The belt itself doesn’t easily bend(at least not with normal use) and just feels very secure. I certainly would buy another one of the same belt if I needed another one.

Great belt.
Holds up to my medium frame pistol in an OWB holster far better than the 5.11 web belt I've been using. The sizing is a little nonstandard, as has been discussed- go with your actual pant waist size, not your belt size. I wear 34" pants and thought the 32- 34 would be too small, it was perfect.

Finally a good lightweight gun belt
I'm a Leo and full-time firearms instructor. I have always wanted someone to make a stiff nylon belt with a lightweight plastic buckle. This is the best one yet. Over the years I've had a few Wilderness Tactical belts (great but heavy buckle), Propper & 5.11 with plastic buckles were not stiff enough for daily holster & mag pouch wear. This belt is very good overall & definitely worth the price. It would also work well as a pants belt under a duty belt due to the buckle being low profile, stiff so belt keepers won't collapse it and you can tighten it the exact amount you need before attaching your duty belt on top.

I've asked First Tactical for a size recommendation and plan to reorder as this is an excellent belt, the last 12" is single web
3/16/17 update, ok just got a Large, with my 40-inch belt size the L is too big by almost 10. If you have a good-fitting belt measure from the wrap around point on the buckle to the best-fit belt hole. My measurement is 40-inches and a L is still too big, order accordingly.4 stars for the quality, this belt is up there with $50+ models, the double-strap portion is hard to deflect between your finger and thumb, very sturdy mounting for whatever you want to hang there.XL Belt is 57" about 10" of overage on my 40" waist. I've asked First Tactical for a size recommendation and plan to reorder as this is an excellent belt, the last 12" is single webbing for easy threading thru the clasp. The remaining is very stout double-wrap. I will update with 5 stars pending successful reorder with the correct size. I measured a current belt to best fitting hole at 40" and ordered the XL 40-42", this thing is too big, beware.

A+ Quality, send me another
A+ product. send me a free one and I'll do a raving YouTube video on how much i love it. I've worn mine every day for a year now, it has some fraying and signs of wear which I wish it didnt have but it holds a weapon in a holster very snugly, does not come loose, never have to adjust, even when i lost 40 lbs still works great, just a bit ugly after a year of daily use. light weight, water proof, passes through metal detectors since it has the polymer clasp. black looks great, the tan looks amazing
