Classic
This is the closest to the real thing that you can get, and I was so excited that I can get it on Amazon instead of having to search every big box store in person. It was getting hard to find. Great price too!

Not quite the classic but good in its own way, it's like the son or grandson of the classic
So if you remember the classic green bottle from the 1980s this smells very similar to it...but just slightly different, it's a bit lighter, a bit more modern, crisper and not as heavy. Some might say, kind of like modern times compared to the 80s not as heavy, not as unique or polarizing, not as bold and not as offensive. It is like a politically correct take on the must have 1980s scent. It's smells very similar but doesn't last as long and lacks a certain umph..not as musky, not as heavy and it doesn't stay on clothing as long. That might be good for some as folks won't smell you from three cubes away or around the corner in the college library like they could in the 1980s...it's nice, it's quieter but it isn't the same if you are looking for exactly what you had in 1987. But to me, I'm sorta ok with it. This isn't the 1980s. The old scent was like the junk bond trader in a 3 piece suit, kinda heavy, tipped well, ate a double burger with fries and two martinis with extra olives after a sweaty day in the pit on Wall St. This is the more modern version. Leaner. Cheaper. Quieter. It doesn't have to show off. It's the 23 year old trading altcoin on his phone after making workout videos for his online followers on his way to a date he just met on that cool new app. It's not as over the top, it's not quite a classic, it's the son of a classic or maybe the grandson. I'll take it but I'm still old school and want the original. Two things I really like about this product: (1) it says it is NOT tested on animals - awesome, thank you for being kind and (2) the company is headquartered in Upstate NY!! An absolutely great place to be and live! I support the economy of upstate NY!

Nobody can tell the difference.
I've been using this for as long as it's been on the market. Used to use the original but it's too expensive especially when you can buy this for $9. It smells the same or so close that nobody can tell the difference stronger and last longer. It's like a sore peter... you can't beat it!!

I actually preferred the knock-off to the genuine article!
Smells like it belongs on a man. The top note is comprised of bergamot, which is a citrus hybrid of lemon and orange. This naturally sloughs off after about fifteen minutes, which is what all citrus top notes do. The middle layer is a blend of basil, which gives it a fresh herbal scent, and jasmine, which is of course a bit more floral, without being feminine. The middle notes are detectable from after the first 20 minutes until perhaps three hours or so. After the two middle notes wear away, the base note is musk, and this will last at least another hour, so one spray and you are good to go for four hours. Please be aware that this fragrance is a French-Canadian knock-off of Ralph Lauren Polo Green. Just for yux, I went to the men's fragrance counter at Dillard's. I sprayed one spray of the genuine article Polo Green on my left inside elbow, and then I sprayed one spray of this Belcam knock-off on my right inside elbow. Long story short, after a grueling eight-hour day, the Belcam knock-off still smelled fresh and sweet, whereas the Ralph Lauren designer fragrance morphed into more of a chemical-type of smell. I actually preferred the knock-off to the genuine article! Sorry, Ralph.

This Stuff Last Me All Day
This is my first PB product. With the price being around $7.00 and being made in the USA I added it to my cart. The green is slightly off putting at first (very synthetic) but turns into a pretty respectable scent. The kicker is it last all day. I apply it at 6:00AM and it dies somewhere around 3:00PM with the first hour being super strong and still getting slights whiffs all throughout the day. Others can still detect it even close to the end of its life. I work outside on a farm as well and I over spray upwards of 10 spurts but less than 15. Thats on clothing and mostly skin. It does not overly project and I don’t believe the silage is noticeable. However it sure does have a nice little bubble around me and for hours. The scent is not for every one. I smelled the OG PoLo in store once but don’t remember it so I can’t speak how close of a clone this is. The scent is not for everyone. This is not a complement getter, and most men will not enjoy it let alone women. But for a more earthy masculine man I think you can’t go wrong.

Smells nothing like Polo Green
It's not at all a bad smelling scent, but to me it smells nothing like Polo Green. This has a very light warm spicy scent but not even close to what it is advertised as, and it fades very quickly. Again not a bad scent at all and worth the $10.00 to me. The scent stays the same all the way through the dry down. It does however smell cheap.

Smells just like grandpa!
Like everyone else, I too am conflicted with this scent. I recently turned 40. As such, I'm not at all opposed to transitioning to a more mature scent at this stage of life. However, this scent is WAY too mature... as in 'aged 60-99' mature. I actually like the scent. It's giving very much forest, pine tree, etc. Still, I personally can't wear this one without feeling awkward, lol. It'll be delegated to bathroom spray use only (which is where grandpa spent most of his time, ironically enough).

Affordable classic
I don't understand some of the hate on this one. While i can’t directly compare it to its RL counterpart i can definitely say this is a great smelling cologne that lasts. I remember when i was a teenager buying colognes more than triple the price of this that smelled absolutely horrible and lasted maybe an hour if you were lucky. That being said it’s definitely not the nicest cologne on the market but for $10 it punches way above its price and i am looking forward to trying more of their scents.

Wanted to try Polo Green for so long, thought I’d like it… it’s just as bad as people say.
I always thought people were over exaggerating on Polo Green by saying it smells like “cigarettes” and like an “old man”, but this isn’t a lie. The atomizer just sprayed like a water gun, it did smell like good pine tree from the box but smelled like a horrible mix of dirty pine and actual dirty wood after I sprayed it onto my skin. Is it necessarily PB Parfumsbelcam’s fault? Not entirely, considering they wanted to make a cheap alternative to the very expensive Polo Green. I’m just glad I didn’t spend a fortune on that fragrance just to get bummed out. If you want to try it, please test it at a fragrance store or a Ralph Lauren outlet - do not blind buy. Just get PB’s Bold Tobacco, 1 Gender, or Classic Match Blue instead.
