It is made in Japan and I love it. Very easy to use and very sharp.

Can you make waffle fries with the Benriner 64?

I don't think so. Seems to be only slices, juliennes, and ribbons.

Must disassemble to clean correct? How is this easy??

I clean mine right after using it by holding it under hot running water.That usually works without dismantling the device. If you must dismantle it is not difficult.
