Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (PS4)

Great game on the PS5 Pro, and great graphics on the big 60 frame per second flat screen too !! ( It might say it's for the PS4, but it works very well on our PS5 Pro too !! ) If you enjoy cryptic games with puzzles to solve and love a journey through forests and ancient tombs and pyramids and so-on, this is just up your alley !! The language is a little 'fruity' so think twice about getting this game if you or your family member or friend you might be buying this for, is a little sensitive to a bit of 'effing and jeffing' ! It's a wee bit gory too every time your heroine ( Lara ) succumbs to death in a varied manner !!... ...( And that's not a spoiler, the game is a bit complicated to manage with the many different Sony PS5 controller buttons doing all sorts of things which - will end up with your character ( Lara ) dying on at least one occasion until you learn what button does what, unless you are a Tomb Raider video game fan already in which case you will be familiar with previous Tomb Raider title/s and what each controller button does !! ) All in all, a very fun game to play so far with great graphics, stability is very good as well on the PS5, and the game gets us thinking a lot to solve problems and just blatantly having a shoot out when it's necessary !! Delivery was as expected from Amazon - according to the delivery date given and on time, and the game was brand new when delivered, thanks Amazon !! 5 Stars !

I enjoyed this game very much. I played it in early 2026 and it stands up well even though it is a PS4 game. It's a good solid Tomb Raider game. Get it.

Haven't actually started this game yet as I'm playing rise of the tomb raider , but I've been a fan of this since the PS1 and have all the games up to the PS3. If shadow of the tomb raider is anything like rise of the tomb raider , graphically, sound , storyline , cinematics , and length of gameplay then it's going to be another great game with lots of surprises and hours of fun.

Brilliant del and excellent condition playing again as i think it’s a great game

It's not bad, a bit like a digestive biscuit. Everythings there, guns, skill trees and the graphic are very good, not quite Uncharted levels but still good. I think the issue I have with it is I just don't feel connected... Lara's boring she has no personality and neither does her mate. That is where they've missed the mark. Lara should be cocky and confident, welding dual desert eagles. They should bring back that gun setup as that's how she was originally intended and work out the gun mechanics to best suit that style. Don't abandon it and copy Uncharted.

Jeu fait longtemps après sa commercialisation. Patché et mis à jours, je n' ai constaté aucun des défauts mentionnés par la presse qui ne l' avait noté qu' autour des 16/20.... injuste du coups . Contrairement à l'épisode "rise of tomb raider" où c'est la performance graphique qui a été favorisée au détriment du gameplay, j'ai pris un plaisir fou à vivre cette nouvelle aventure qui renoue avec l'esprit des premiers tomb raider ; Exploration, énigmes, tombeaux, des sites archéologiques de toute beauté, de l'action, de l'infiltration etc... Bref, le jeu se démontre très complet et transpire la passion des développeurs pour offrir une aventure épique et pleine de rebondissements. Je lis, ci-et-là, que le jeu tend vers la saga Uncharted, la vérité c'est que c'est la licence tomb raider qui a inspiré celle des Uncharted, sauf que les précédents tomb raider s'étaient éloignés de l'essence du jeu au point de faire oublier ce qui caractérisait vraiment tomb raider (en terme d'expérience vidéo ludique) . L'essoufflement de la licence tomb raider, a offert à la saga Uncharted, une porte d'entrée idéale pour séduire les joueurs nostalgiques des meilleurs tomb raider, frustrés par les mauvaises dernières productions avec leur héroïne Lara croft. Même si l'élève a largement dépassé le maître sur bien des plans, ce tomb raider reste un opus significatif, marquant qui fait honneur à la licence et apporte une réelle bouffée d'oxygène. Graphiquement le jeu est très beau, les environnements sont magnifique, les sites archéologiques sont très inspirés ...! . La direction artistique est de haute volée. La maniabilité est parfaite. Les phases de plateforme sont vertigineuses. Les guns fight, tout comme les passages d' infiltration sont grisants. Tout est au rendez-vous... exploration, tombeaux réussis. Rythme bien dosé. On notera le contraste entre la beauté des décors en extérieur et l'aspect anxiogène des quêtes sous-terraine avec des phase de "survival" angoissantes ... Les passages sous l'eau sont de toute beauté aussi . On prend plaisir à chercher ... fouiner ... dénicher les cryptes ... résoudre les énigmes des tombeaux. En plus d une quête principale qui propose de grands moments épiques . L' immertion est une réussite totale... sans négliger l'émotion. On s attache aux personnages ... Cette édition ultime offre le double de tombeaux par rapport à l'édition standard. Pour moi un des meilleurs jeu d'aventure sur ps4 qui n'a pas à rougir des "uncharted"... un univers magnifique, invitation au voyage, qui procure une véritable expérience d' explorateur sur console next gen. Un jeu maîtrisé de bout en bout que l'on a du mal à quitter ... un must-have injustement ombragé par des notes un peu trop "radicales" à sa sortie. Généreux, fun, complet même si il est graphiquement moins abouti que d'autres tomb raider sur PS4, c'est l'épisode qui m'a le plus "régalé" grâce à l'expérience de jeu qu'il offre .

Habe das Spiel noch nicht durch, aber es ist mach den ersten Stunden so mega, hat definitiv nen Suchtfaktor. Fand Rise of the Tomb Raider schon gut, dieser Titel setzt nochmal einen drauf. Riesige Welt zum erkunden, sehr viele Möglichkeiten wie man zu einem Ziel kommt. Und das beste sind die Rätsel! Wie gesagt, Achtung Suchtfaktor ⚠

Muy buen juego que me lleve a un precio irrisorio, rondando los 15€ sino recuerdo mal. Viene con todos los DLC, cerca de unas 30-35 horas para pasartelo al 95%. Buen cierre de trilogia
