Fantastic! Does exactly what it promises, NO damage!
This does exactly what it says. Lifts at least 8 levels with NO damage. I use this as a base for my color routine. I make my hair light bright silver. Natural color very dark blonde aged from natural very light blonde. Everything I read recommends this or that bleach and that developer but I got tired of the process. Boxed-colors have a reputation for looking cheap but I've always found they leave my hair in better condition than my own combos, especially if I'm messing around with 30 volume developer. I'm not a pro, just cheap and hate the wasted time at the salon. If I mess up, well, hair grows back. Using this along with the toning products I use leaves my hair in great condition and a lovely shining, true silver color. Probably cost several hundred dollars and maybe more than one visit to the hairdresser if I went that route. People tell me all the time I have beautiful hair. If there's slight damage to the ends I don't notice because after coloring is when I thin/trim it with a manual razor comb. USE A LOT. I'm in my 50's with strong coarse heavy hair. I keep it short, kind of a long loose pixie/ layered above the shoulders and use the razor comb to thin it a bit so I have some lift and wave/ slight loose curl. Lately I've just been scrunching with mousse and texturizing spray rather than blow dry and style. I use TWO boxes for that small amount of hair. I mix both and put it all over my head rubbing it in to the new growth (I let it grow out 4 - 6 weeks), making sure it is all thickly covered. No clips or separating, sometimes I'll use a brush on an area but usually just gloved hands. Not the proper procedure I know. I try to avoid the *very* ends but it still thickly covers hair that had been previously bleached. Leave it in for max time no covering, cold room. STLL NO DAMAGE. Of course I use a lot of strengthening and smoothing products between treatments. All silver needs upkeep. 1 drop of silver (purple) toner rubbed all through and left in rather than rinsed out every day out works perfectly. Hope this is helpful. I don't really know how it looks and keeps on its own. Gets mine to the inside of a banana peel. Have fun!

Cured my quarantined blonde blues!
I’m unemployed, the salons are closed, and this product and my experience with are a major bright spot in my year. I used to get my hair done almost platinum with platinum highlights at the salon so I feel like I sort of have experience watching the right way to do blonde and knowing what “good” (and by “good” I mean “not cheap“ and expertly applied) blonde should look like when it’s done. Check out my review and tips below. Section your hair evenly before you begin. Start with dry hair. Wear the gloves. I used a dye bowl and brush to apply. The smell wasn’t bad, in my opinion. Yes, it’s hair bleach (it promises 7 levels of lift, which a stylist would probably tell you is not actually realistic for one application—but yes, this kit is bleach, dunno why other reviewers are surprised by that). Anyway, I even forgot to add the Step 3 liquid (twice) and it still worked. Apply it slowly and carefully. Buy two boxes so you will get enough coverage and enough lightening. If you have dark hair, orange is a normal outcome—you just need to use more and to do this more than once. Apply in two (or more, if needed) rounds so you don’t have the product on your hair for more than 60 minutes at a time. Keep it moist while it cures (put plastic on your head), because it will stop working when it dries out. Don’t be surprised by any orange tones, they don’t mean it didn’t work, they mean your hair is too dark to go platinum in one treatment. The conditioner included smells like roses and makes your hair soft but doesn’t have enough color in it to really help brassiness. Buy a good purple or blue conditioner to counteract any yellow or orange tones (my stylist uses Shimmer Lights, so I do, too, and I mix it with a 3-minute conditioner to get the shade I like). Overall, this worked well for me and I am one happy quarantined blonde. If you’re not super familiar with doing your own hair blonde, watch some YouTube videos before you start so you don’t make mistakes that are easily avoided. It’s hard to do your hair yourself and have it come out perfect but now at least seeing my own reflection is a joy again and anything I may have messed up can be fixed in the salon someday if needed. Highly recommend.

Finally, a boxed lift that works.
I have tried many strategies to lighten my very dark blonde hair to the light blonde color it was in my youth. Most of them fall very short and do not lighten enough while leaving a lot of brass behind. I have disappointed in salons near my house as well. They don't listen the info I try to share and I end up with either very brassy, ashy or very red blonde color and am out $200 for it. My hair color actually has a lot of ash color from my mother's side and red from my father's side embedded in a blonde base that has darkened with every year since puberty to the point of being a very heavy, drab color. If the red and brass and ash aren't lifted evenly the results are not good. I know I am asking a lot here to deal with my freaky natural pigment but it's what I have to work with. I did have experience lightening and coloring hair successfully in the past before my hair had become as dark as it is now. After trying a few other lightening systems with poor results, I stumbled across this and something compelled me to try one last thing before pouring my wallet into new salons or just giving up entirely. It worked! I ended up with a pale butter platinum that will easily tone to the perfect shade. This is about the best one could hope for with my pigment density. My husband and daughter love it which is nice because they have to look at it even more than I do. My hair does not seem damaged and is soft. (I also tried the L'Oreal Ever Pure Glossing system on the 3rd day after lightening and the results were fantastic -- I have never had such shiny, silky looking and feeling hair) I did use a cap to trap warmth and promote full processing. This is a winner for me and I think at least worth a solid try for most. Some tips that you might already know but may be good reminders: Have a few hair clips and a parting comb handy Have a plan for organizing the hair in sections and working quickly Start on areas that have had residual color in previous lightening sessions as they may actually have more pigment and need more time. Leave the bottom 1/3-1/2 inch of the roots unapplied until about 15-20 minutes through the processing time. If hair is more than shoulder length or ultra thick have 2 boxes on the ready -- it is still a bargain compared to salon prices. If you do need 2 boxes, don't mix the second box until the first is used up so the mix isn't aging/losing power in the bowl/bottle. Put a coloring cap over the processing hair at the end of applying the mix (cold spots won't process as well as well as the warmer parts near the scalp and the cap helps even this out) Set your processing timer at the end of application for the maximum time (anything less may give uneven results) you can always add color/tone back in a day or two days later with a toner. Good luck! Finding the right stuff for each hair type can be a trying process. Hope you end up as happy as I am!

My husband loves the color
Please read all: loves at the beginning and pro tips in the middle and cons/dislikes at the end. Thank you. *** very easy to use *** smells great, does not have an obxnious chemical smell *** Dyes your hair quickly *** worked very well to dye my hair even over non metallic brand splat ombre pink/violet ( I had that color at the top of my hair) and this brand and shade blue metallic at the bottom (the last picture shows how the color my hair was before it faded out to a gray washed out version of it hence gave me the desire to dye it this time all one color) I decided to color my entire head all in the same shade and it covered very well. } Even though it washes out a bit each time you wash it, I love that you can work in the yard or house and work up a sweat and the dye stays on your hair unlike other hair dyes where when you sweat it runs down your face and neck. You can get sweaty and not turn into smurfette with this brand. } This color and brand dyed my hair the exact color to the box color shades predicted. I've never before had hair color that matched the box but this did. } I have always hated having my hair a dark color but I love this dark color. Depending on the lighting my hair looks dark blue to violet and sometimes dark brown/black in some camera shots without the flash on it even looks normal dark brown to black. PRO TIPS: 1.} Cover your counter in old towels or piddle pads (does stain counters and showers and skin if not washed off asap) before starting to mix the hair dye. 2.} Use lotion> I used the dollar tree chamomile relaxing-sleep lotion. Apply around edges of your hair line widely/thick, apply on shoulders, chest. This hydrates your skin as a bonus but even better when you inevitably as we all do-> The ends of your hair that is coated in the dye touches other areas of your body by using the lotion then when you rinse your hair the lotion keeps it from dying your skin and face blue/ purple. If it does get on area without lotion on it quickly/asap wash with soap and water otherwise your skin will be purple/blue til it fades off. 3.}. Other people says this dyes your white showers I have learned this is true if you let the color sit and dry on your white or light colored showers/counters/walls but if you wash it with water and even use soap and rinse it very well before it dries it will not color or stain. 4.} I did have a few hair strand loss but not a lot. Use the conditioner the kit provides. It made my hair feel so healthy and soft. 5.} Make sure to massage the dye in and even comb through it with a non metal comb then massage in again. This helps to evenly coat each hair strand, and seems to help the dye to work or activate better, and you get a massage at the same time. THE CONS 1.} The permanent color does fade quickly to a washed out color that I absolutely hated. It does wash out a little bit each time you wash your hair. 2.} It will dye your white/light colored towels and will not come out. 3.} It does not color dark hair which is a huge bummer. I hate that. You must bleach your hair to blondest blonde possible before using this brand. It will work on light color hair just not dark hair. 5.} It will dye your skin and showers/counters if you do not heed my tips. 6.} Make sure each time you wash your hair after the initial dying process that you rinse your shower out very well. Over all I will buy this brand and color again.

Works
Ignore my face in this picture, but this is after using this, with no toner. It comes out the desired pale yellow, from my very dark ash blonde. And i tend to wash it out faster than i should. It does damage your hair, but it is what it is. I don't use any product to counter that, so I'm sure you could and make it look better. I recommend getting a good toner with this and it will look true platinum, or continually using a good purple shampoo.

Careful What You Wish For Definitely Applies To This Product
I can personally attest that this Loreal Paris Feria Brand Platinum Bounce Bond Care Lightening System Haircoloring truly does work to lighten the hair color even for naturally darker hair colors. The first time I purchased and utilized this product was around September 2024 via amazon and I was surprised at how quickly/fast my hair coloring changed (from a natural dark brown/nearly jet black hair color to reddish and parts of golden blond hair) after the first application. Even my sweet/loving husband jokingly compared my transformed haircolor to the cuddly/adorable stuffed red panda souvenir that he had purchased for me less than 6 weeks earlier (and I reluctantly admit that I had to agree with his playful assessment for obvious reasons). I then utilized this same brand of Feria to my hair October 2024 and my more significant portions of my hair transformed to an even more golden color that time around. Luckily my sweet husband said himself that he is coming around to accepting my new haircolor. With humble intent, I was also pleasantly surprised at the number of kind compliments that came my way about the hair color from multiple encouraging men and women both online less than 2 months ago and from some people I encountered for professional reasons less than 2 months ago. However I would gently recommend, even as a proud woman of color, and regardless of your demographic background to only color andor lighten the hair for yourself because you are most likely going to get more attention (both positive andor soap opera like gossip judgement attention) regardless of whether you want to andor expect such attention. What I mean by this with jerk-free intent utilizing an example from my own life-After my first hair coloring lightening around less than 2 and a half months ago, I encountered a younger leader type who I interacted with for professional reasons who acted much more aggressively towards me after I lightened my hair and I chose to take the higher road/let it slide for diplomatic reasons and some other kinder more mature acting/more well meaning women within that same professional environment suddenly ask me if I was okay emotionally after I colored/lighten my hair (obviously I showed appreciation/gratitude for those well meaning concerns when they didn't even have to care). Even with those experiences I am glad to have experimented on my hair and I purchased 4 more kits from amazon to continue to do so again some time before summer andor autumn 2025. For those with thick andor coarse hair considering utilizing this edition of Feria (regardless of ethnicity/race)I would gently recommend purchasing at least 2 of the Loreal Paris Brand Platinum Bounce Bond Care Lightening System for the first andor subsequent applications. I happen to have previously knew that the Feria brand exists because multiple years ago when my late adoptive mother was alive I saw her using that brand when she kindly and lovingly put some highlights into my hair.

It's OK. . .
It's ok, it does lighten the hair. However a couple of warnings! If you have a thick, course, and/or curly to coily hair make sure to moisturize! This product is incredibly drying! Another warning, the smell is STRONG make sure to ventilate whatever room your in while you are doing your hair. The conditioner is OK, I still had a brass color left in my hair after conditioning. Final Warning, you will most likely need 2-3 rounds of this stuff, if your hair is extremely dark. The color will appear yellow oe light yellow your first round. (Dark Brown and/or Jet Black.

Easy Platinum for Experienced DIY Bottle Blondes
This review is for the Absolute Platinum color. If you have any experience doing platinum blonde yourself with bleach powder and developer, you'll know that it's messy and kind of tricky. Nothing gets your hair whiter than doing it yourself and applying the Wella White Lady toner, but it's a rocky process such that it's easy to fry your hair, have uneven spots, or even accidentally tint it purple. Salons in NYC charge you upwards of $200 for just roots and most of the time I'd leave with yellow hair I'd still end up having to fix myself. Enter Feria Platinum. I wasn't too sure about this at first, but decided to give it a shot and I love it. I am totally back to platinum thanks to the ease of use, the cream spreads really well so you get good coverage, and it didn't fry my hair. For truly white platinum you'll need to get a different toner than the conditioner in the package, but overall this is great stuff. Each time I've gone platinum it's been after having dying my hair red or black. I used this product most recently after dying my hair red (also with Feria) and I'll share how I got my results. My recommendation for doing it with this product is to first start gradually lightening your hair with a golden blonde color. If you're in a hurry, do it once a week. If you're not in a hurry, do it when you you touch up your roots, and gradually go a shade of blonde lighter. The last color I did was the Bleach Blonde which ended up making my hair pretty yellow, as expected. I wore a hat for three days and didn't wash my hair. Today I used the Platinum, putting it first on the darker strands of hair that were still holding onto the old red. After 20 minutes, I worked it into the rest of my hair, then let it sit for 20 minutes. Total time was 40 minutes. I used a disposable shower cap to cover it to prevent the color from drying out and to keep the hair "warm" from the heat from my scalp. My hair is not perfectly white on the ends, nor did I expect it to be, because of the previous red dye. It is pretty light though and only slightly yellow. I plan to use some of my Wella White Lady toner on it in a week after my hair has had some time to recover. The most important thing to remember with bleaching your hair, you need to give your hair time to get some of the oils back and to recover. Have a back up plan for how you'll wear your hair (hat, scarf, etc) while you're letting it do so, in case it's in an awkward state. If you do not have experience with bleaching your hair and your hair has been chemically treated, I highly recommend you do not use this product and have a professional do the initial lightening on your hair. If it's not light enough, that's ok, give it time and then try this product to get the final lightening once your hair has recovered. If you have really dark hair, you might need to do it twice. I'd recommend doing a test strand to see how long it takes to lighten your hair and how light you can expect this product to get it. For really even coverage in the past, I've used a full head hair dryer (one of those things that you cover your head with a cap and warm air circulates). I have naturally dark blonde hair that is somewhat fine and very oily. I like having it platinum because then it's not oily by the end of the day, and it gives my hair some texture and body (where normally it just kind of lies flat). I had given up on keeping it platinum because the upkeep was just too much for me, but since discovering this product, I'm back to platinum and happy I can finally maintain it without the disappointment of expensive and inconsistent salon results.

I found it very good.
The product is good. Bleach makes our hair rough. But this product is a bit mild, doesn't make hair so rough and the given conditioner inside the package helps. The result is exactly as shown in the picture. And if your hair length is just like in the picture of the front package, you will get the exact result. For longer hair you've to buy more than one.

Worked perfectly!!!
As someone who dyes my hair quite a bunch, this worked like a charm. I had purple hair dye in for about a couple months, it faded to a pink ish red along with my natural brown and refused to leave. This bleach got it out pretty well! My once brown hair with messy pink bits still left legit turned almost natural blonde, now I'm not gonna sugar coat. Some bits did turn orangey pink due to my pink color fading mid bleach with it, but other then that it genuinely worked like a charm. Though he advised, I only bought one box (I was bleaching two sections for raccoon tails.) you WILL need more then one box if you wanna bleach your whole head and do an actual good bleach. After words (after shower), my hair isn't crusty at all, it's actually smoother and softer then before surprisingly! Shipping wise, Wonderful. Came in perfect condition no damage and came a day early! I genuinely would recommend this bleach, it worked wonderfully and took the color perfectly out of my hair : )

Meets its promise
I have used to lighten up my brown hair. It became copper like initially but colored again with a lighter brown after highlighting. Did the job for me. Little damage observed.
