Very high quality matcha
The difference between ceremonial matcha and culinary matcha is like night and day. At least with the Jade Leaf brand, that's the only brand I've had so far and likely the only brand I will have. I know it's way more expensive than the ordinary culinary matcha, but I'm telling you it's worth it. I could care less about the taste and texture and all that, which is far better, it's smoother, way less bitter, way more pleasant to drink. But who cares? It's the effects that I get, which is why I keep buying it. The caffeine doesn't seem to hit me as hard, I still feel it but my head doesn't get all screwy from it like it does from The Culinary grade or from coffee. My brain just seems to be more calm. But at the same time, I seem to have more energy than what the culinary grade gives me. Overall I just feel so much better, more energy and more relaxed both at the same time. I just recommend that you at least try it. Just buy a small amount at first to make sure you like it. As far as the brand, I can't really compare it with anything because I have not tried any other brands. I've only been using matcha for a few months now. But Jade leaf seems to be very high quality. The matcha is nice and vibrant green. And it works very well. So it must be the real deal. Oh I forgot to mention that the effects that I get for me anyway, seem to last somewhere between 5 and 6 hours. So you don't need to drink this stuff like people drink coffee. It's pretty strong. It only takes a half a teaspoon at a time. I only use it twice a day. I can see maybe up to three times per day but I doubt anyone would need more than that.

Top Notch Match!
I've tried several brands of matcha over the years, but this is my all time favorite! It doesn't have to be Teahouse edition, any ceremonial blend from Jade Leaf is wonderful. But I have bought Teahouse the last two times I've ordered, because it comes in this huge pound pack. It's expensive, but not really. You get a ton of matcha for the price, and it's cheaper in the long run. Especially if you were buying matcha lattes elsewhere! I used to bring a small tin of matcha to work with me, along with a little squeeze bottle of sweetener. And I'd just grab a bottle of room temp water, drink a little to make space, then scoop some matcha in with a few drops of sweetener and mix vigorously. It worked pretty well and only left a few tiny globs of unmixed matcha. But the effect it had on me was so good that I came to love this simple mixture. Matcha contains L-Theanine, which mellows you out and honestly is just the best thing ever! It also contains caffeine, so it gives you energy. The 2 things working together is like a natural speedball! But it's not intense. You just feel calm, awake, and focused. And I've never felt a crash like I have from other caffeine sources. This is more sustainable energy. I tried the lavender oatmilk matcha latte from Starbucks a few months ago, and thought it was so good! I can tell the matcha they use is not as good as Jade Leaf, but the flavors compliment each other so well! At nearly $7 for a large, I started looking into making my own. I found some Torani lavender syrup at TJMaxx and everything changed.... At first I made a lavender cold foam for the latte, but quickly realized I didn't actually need it. There are very easy recipes online if you're interested. Because the Jade Leaf matcha is SO good, the simpler the better. I just take some warm water and add in lots of matcha- to make a concentrated amount. I put it in a cup with a lid and shake it really well- the warm water helps it to dissolve. Although if you have a wand or small blender, that would work well too. In a cocktail shaker I add ice, some of the matcha concentrate, oatmilk, and a dash or two of lavender syrup.....and shake really well. Then pour and drink as is, no foam needed. Aerating the 3 ingredients is the key. It also gets it really cold without having to deal with ice melting into your drink. If you don't have a cocktail shaker, use any cup with a lid. This homemade version with this superior matcha is so much better than what I can buy at a coffee shop. Speaking of, I have given up coffee for lavender matchas. I love coffee and espresso, and can make both at home, but really have no interest anymore. The matcha tastes better and makes me FEEL better!! I even bought a bottle of L-Theanine supplements in pill form- they're just derived from matcha! They make me feel wonderful too, but not as good as making and drinking my own. It's almost a spiritual experience, and I can clearly see why there are ceremonies dedicated to consuming it. I hope everyone else gets this much out of it, good luck!

Jade leaf Matcha Organic Ceremonial grade
I’ve ordered this matcha 21 times, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. The quality has been consistently excellent, smooth, vibrant, and never bitter. It blends beautifully and tastes amazing whether I drink it plain or as a matcha latte. I also love the clean, steady energy it gives me without the jitters or crash that coffee can cause. Since switching to this matcha, it’s become part of my everyday routine, and I genuinely look forward to it every morning. I rarely write reviews, but after ordering it 21 times, I felt it deserved one.

Deceptive
This is a teeny tiny bag of matcha, but if you are only using half a tsp like the directions say, then it's 30 servings. I make my own Matcha lattes at home with this and it is really delicious Matcha!

Good quality however, pricey
A bit pricey for what you get but it is good quality. I do the Match shots so it will last a little longer. Taste is tolerable.

Great flavor
I'll preface this by saying ive only ever had Matcha from local coffee shops, dunkin, and caribou coffee. I am a very big fan due to the way it makes me feel. I thought I'd try some to make at home a little cheaper. You can see from the pictures, it has a lovely green color making it obvious of the higher quality. The flavor on this is great, although I will say it's missing a little bit of that savory, umami flavor I love. It's still delicious which is why I still leave 5 stars. It has a slight, and I mean slight, bitterness but otherwise has a nice sweetness to it. There was absolutely no grittiness. It blended flawlessly. I made a hot latte with 8 oz of milk and no sugar and it was perfect. I ended up adding a half teaspoon of vanilla and a tsp of sugar as I was craving something a little sweeter. It was a nice treat! I look forward to trying some of the other Matchas this brand offers.

Excellent flavor
I travel a lot for work, but as a non-coffee drinker, I need to bring along my own packets of tea. The brand I drink at home doesn't sell "to go" packs and the brand I used for years suddenly doubled their price for the same 10 packs, so when looking for a new brand, I noticed all the positive reviews for Jade Leaf and started with the small 10 pack. Not only was it cheaper than my original to go brand before the price hike, but it tasted just as good if not better. A really good quality Match! It has a beautiful jade green color, not at all bitter in my opinion. So glad I found a really great option so I can continue to enjoy my morning Matcha on the road! The 30 pack is a good value!

Not worth the money
Not worth the money. It’s alot more expensive than the Hagoromo Matcha that we can get from Teso only for $7 for 40 gram. While this $22 for 30 gram. This taste more bitter than that one.

Best matcha I’ve ever tasted
This is premium ceremonial grade first harvest matcha! The taste is so fresh and nice without any grassy taste that I could even eat the powder and not feel the grassy taste. Buy it without doubt

Great Matcha
Great tasting ceremonial matcha at a reasonable price. Matcha ceremonial tea is very expensive because of the first grade quality of the green tea leaves and it’s very potent. I usually use half a teaspoon and it’s strong enough with a bitter potent taste. I just add a little bit of honey to sweeten it up a bit but you can have it without either if you don’t mind the bitter taste. I usually have matcha lattes for the most part. The price is a little high but if you use half a teaspoon for each latte it should last awhile. Overall, I am pleased with the taste of this matcha tea for the price I paid. I’m sure there are other options of match ceremonial greens tea that are better but the price may be very expensive. I am satisfied with this option. The only thing I didn’t like it can be confusing to open the package for the first time. I will now know how to open it next time! lol

Excellent on-the-go matcha
These travel packets of matcha are perfection; convenient, easy, smooth, and tasty. I was actually quite impressed by the quality as I bought these for convenience of travel and wasn’t sure how they’d be. They mix up so well! The colour is nice, it does not clump, and the taste is smooth and lovely (not bitter at all). I included a video (and no that’s not how I’d normally make it lol). I would usually sift but since these are on-the-go packets I don’t always have that option or the time. I will say even when I’m out and don’t have time to sift, the match comes out perfect; zero clumps and so smooth. Impressed that you can just throw the packet in and mix with cool or warm water and have lovely matcha on the go. Even if you are using these at home it’s nice to have the matcha proportioned and individually packaged for freshness. The price is reasonable for organic ceremonial grade (also considering the individual packaging). Overall, love this matcha and highly recommend; it’s smooth, delicious, convenient, easy to mix, and lovely quality.

Pure and Smooth
This was the first time I've made ceremonial matcha in the traditional style (2oz, 80F water). It was a delightful experience! I've read that some people complain about the high price per g but when you think about it, it amounts to $1 a drink, which isn't crazy for a premium, imported item. I look forward to trying and comparing other brands when this pouch runs out.
