Finally! no breakable handles to deal with! no water can enter from dishwasher, and leak out later...why didn't anyone think of this sooner?!!

These strainers have nothing to do with a dishwasher. They are for straining food/liquids.

Product photos show "Sonsitai" marking on the handle but mine don't have any. Did yours have the brand marking?

No, there are no markings on the handle.

These are called strainers, so they should let the liquid strain through w/o waiting right? someone said they were more like a filter and drips slowly

They pretty much let the liquid strain through without waiting if you are pouring from teapot. Even rinsing the filter in the kitchen sink, the flow from the tap will not fill the filter immediately... if you pour from a large, open pitcher it is possible to cause the filter to fill & overflow.
