This replace one that we had in my laundry room that would only go on sporatically. Sometimes I would have to do what I had to do in there in the dark because the light decided it didn't want to come on. We finally bought a new one and had it replaced with this one. This one was extremely bright compared to our old one. I didn't realize that I'd been working in the laundry room had been so dark before. Not sure what the old Wattage was on the old one, but it was only about half as bright as this one. I can even see to iron in the laundry room now. I would recommend this to anyone.

Easy to install

Bought for the garage to replace a traditional fluorescent. It looks nice and was easy to set up, but there is a solid second lag between turning on the switch and the light turning on. House was built in mid-2000s and I have not had issues switching to any other LED fixtures. Minor annoyance but still a nice light.

These LED lights can be controlled by a 0-10V controller. I mounted the first of 3 lights on my ceiling, after installing a Qubino Zwave 0-10V dimming circuit. The photo shows the light with the Qubino Z-Wave Plus Flush Dimmer 0-10V, Gen5 (ZMNHVD3) zwave dimmer (small blue unit) and a 19V power supply (bottom of image larger black box). Note the white wire exiting the LED light unit itself. This carries the 0-10V dimmer signal from the Qubino to the next LED so they all dim together. This controller sends out a 0-10V signal to control the LEDs through the gray and purple wires coming out of the LED controller. At the switch, I connected the hot to the load lines so power is always doing to the light and the Qubino controller. I paired the Qubino with my zwave system. I then replaced the on/off switch with a Zwave dimmer and associated the dimmer with the Quibino (in case my zwave box is offline, the dimmer will still control the switch). Advantages: 1) Complete dimming control using these lights without having to run additional wiring through the wall. 2) Less expensive than other similar installs Disadvantages: 1) Extra small low voltage wire running along my garage ceiling (the only way around this would be to a Qubino in each light; they are about $58 US). 2) Small amount of amperage always running to the power supply

I purchased two of these to replace standard fluorescent light fixtures in our kitchen. I have basic electrical knowledge and skills, and I was able to install these on my own. I rate the level of difficulty of installation at about 3, where changing a light bulb = 0, and replacing an entire breaker box =10. (I did not want a dimmer switch. I feel certain that would require an electrician, because it appears additional wiring would be required for the dimmer switch.) I have included a couple of photos of the installed lights. Since they were installed in an existing enclosure which already had a diffuser, I did not use the diffusers which were included with these fixtures. These lights are much brighter than they appear in the photos. This was a significant upgrade in brightness throughout the kitchen, and my wife is very pleased. I highly recommend these, and I am certain I will be getting more of them.

Used this light in the bathroom to replace 2-4ft flourescents. It works great and looks nice! I had a minor issue with the end cap screws being pushed in, but was able to removed and reinstall myself with a little bit of glue. There are plenty of mounting options so don't let that deter you. Having said that, I did need to drill a hole for my mounting purposes and it went just fine. Light is plenty bright for a 6x10bathroom. Color temperature is good. This was my first LED fixture and it does have a delay when turning on, but it's marginal and you get used to it. Fit and finish are good, overall very impressed and happy!

This light is easy to install. 4 mounting holes around the long axis. I did not use the dimming feature, but there are two wires for dimming control. It is bright for a large room (our room is about 16ft by 16 ft). It looks nice (similar to a slightly bigger three T8 - 48 inch fluorescent tubes). The only negative is that the lead wires and dimming wires are quite long and not properly attached (routed) through the fixture. The lens is quite translucent. This combination shows shadows of wires through the lens if not properly tucked away! Be careful when you install to tuck away as much of the wires into the junction box, and to tape the loose wire to the fixture. otherwise, it is quite distracting.

The fixture is nice and bright. Was easy to install, but there are a few issues I had with the installation. The dimming feature will only work if you #1) have a newer house with the grey/purple low voltage wires or #2) you hire an electrician to install them (unless you can install them yourself of course). I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED when it came in, I read the instructions, and found that out. Had I read some of the reviews or the Q & A section I would have realized that before I ordered it. Instead, I relied simply on the description and missed that. I wished that they would indicate that in they main description. Oh, well. The other problem we had with the installation was that the screws that hold it to the ceiling are barely larger than the hole on the light itself. One screw went right through the hole. I was able to back it back out and it worked fine, but I was less aggressive with the screw driver after that. I would recommend this fixture to anyone as long as they are fully aware of the requirements for the dimming capability. I really wish I had read the reviews. I might have still ended up purchasing it, but I would have definitely looked a bit more.

I have this in a 10x10 office. Very bright. Light color is perfect. Just remember it is not dimmable.

Trying to return a defective lamp and return shipping is almost half the cost of the unit in the first place… great customer service
