World Industries is one of the most recognized and oldest skate brands in the action sports market. Founded in 1987 by professional skateboarders Steve Rocco and Rodney Mullen, World Industries was the brand that re-defined skateboarding into a street-based activity. This, in turn, drove skateboarding's massive growth through the 1990s. Today, the brand is a character-driven youth-oriented boardsports brand with a rich skateboarding heritage.

Good looking shoe
I bought these for my son. He goes through shoes pretty quickly. They are a very nice looking shoe and made very well. They were a tad tight when he first put them on, but they have stretched out a bit and fit him pretty good now. I would definitely recommend these shore to others who like this style shoe.

Great Shoes
These are not your typical shoes, but they look really good, my only complaint is there shoe sizes are a little bigger than what you might be used to.

Great shoes!
They fit well and are well made. I had a pair made by the same company that I just gave up. They lasted me for 6 years and I am hoping that these will to because they are awesome!

cheaply made
I personally don't like these shoes, they were poorly made. The previous pair of world industry shoes I purchased were way better as they lasted 3 years and are still wearable. these ones are already ripping after a couple months

Do not buy Vans
These shoes are comfortable for all use, styled to go with anything (I can where them with my lame preppy work clothes) and they even daisy duke nicely after ramp sliding. The only problem I had was the laces tear up easily, I am a vert/tranny rider, but not a very good one so I do a lot of sliding :-)

Poor quality
Made pretty poor, doesn't fit the anatomical shape of your foot. Would not recommend to buy. After 2 wears I had blisters on my feet.

Great once broken in
At first I didn't like these even though they were almost the exact same as my previous ones. My feet bent out at the knuckles, so it's hard to find shoes that fit me right. After a week or two of breaking them in, they're now my slip-on-and-go shoes. They're comfortable at work since I stand nonstop as a cashier. If you want to invest in some inexpensive, comfy shoes, go for it.
