Knee Rover saving my body and my sanity.
After breaking a bone in my foot, Iโm in the middle of a six week non weight bearing period. I started out on crutches, but quickly found my balance in my 60โs isnโt what it once was. Not being able to move around easily only added to my stress. Thinking I would end up with more broken bones, I went onto the Knee Rover site. It leads you through questions to suggest which is their scooters is best for you. The child/small adult was their suggestion. For me, it has been great. Easy to assemble, adjustable and lightweight. The basket on the front letโs me carry โmy stuffโ around I find I feel very stable and it very easy to maneuver. I will say Iโm 5โ1, long torso and shorter legs. I do have the handlebars at their highest. If your body composition is around my height but longer legs, you may find the handlebars too low. Too, now that it has worked out so great, I wish I maybe had bought the version with the all terrain wheels.

Says for kids but adult approved :)
I love it.!! I didnโt read the description first oops lol. It says for kids and I am a 215lb 5โ5 adult who just had foot surgery. It works great and it holds me. So if anyone is looking for one highly recommended 5 star. Just a little warning doesnโt do a 380 turns so you will have to pick it up for sharp turns. I love the little basket, besides my kitten loves taking rides in it. Its good for your phone and other stuff.

Love my knee rover
I am 4โ11โ tall adult women and I was afraid the adult size scooter would be too tall for my short legs and torso. The child one was perfect out of the box. It came about 99 % assembled. You just have to put the handle bars and basket on. Easy to adjust. The instructions tell you how to adjust breaks which I didnโt have to do and to make sure to tighten the wheels every few days if needed. So far I havenโt had to do anything to mine. I had foot surgery 3 weeks ago and I was getting very tired of crutches and they were hurting my arm pits and I felt very unstable using them and almost fell a few times which is scary. I have had no issues with my knee rover. It does take some getting used to and learning not to lean forward. Best to keep your center of gravity for better balance and maneuvering it. I have 2 more weeks till I get my cast off and wish I had bought this at the very beginning.

Well made and easy to maneuver
Love, love, love, love, love! What a great invention. This beats using crutches since women have weaker upper body. Just the right size for a 5' foot woman like me. It's small enough to fit into my car and so easy to manuever. I love using this rover with ease. I just slide and gets me from point A to point B, no problem. My only complaint about this rover is it has a very small front tires so when you hit an uneven pavement on the street or even your house, you have the tendency to lose your balance and flip forward. Trust me I felt like getting in an accident again. So what you need to do it just slide very slowly on the uneven pavement or lift up the rover to avoid the bump. This way you won't lose the grip on your rover and flip. Over all though I like it and recommend it to everyone.

Great for small adults as well as kids
I didn't get this for a child. I got it for myself. I am a 4'10" tall woman. This scooter works fine for me. I took off a star for two reasons. First, there is no turning radius on this scooter. You will be lifting up the front of the scooter to pivot it if you want to turn any way other than a slight turn to the left or right. The other reason is that unless I push with my foot slightly outside the line of the wheels, I hit the wheels with my foot. That could be the function of a woman riding a kid's scooter...not the scooter's fault. The main reason I got this scooter over the others available was because of the weight. This scooter weighs only about 18 lbs. The weight of the "adult" scooters start at 22 lbs. That's a huge difference when you're trying to lift it out of a car and you weigh 110 lbs. I'm happy I got this one. It's working great and mostly keeping me out of trouble. Mostly.

This scooter saved our son's summer fun!
This scooter is fantastic! Our nine-year-old son injured his leg just after school was out. He would be in a cast, no weight-bearing, for a month, then gradual weight-bearing with a boot for another month. He would miss out on so many summer things and be on crutches. We looked into renting a scooter, but it was cheaper to buy one for the length of time we needed it. This scooter has given him back his mobility! He is able to ride around outside with the neighbors, and cruise around the house easily too. The scooter is also much safer than a nine-year-old on crutches! The construction is sturdy, The wheels are fine for indoor and outdoor use and are also sturdy. The knee pad is comfortable. It also offers a place to sit down when he gets where he's going if he needs a seat. The basket allows him to carry things around beautifully. The hand brake comes in handy and locks easily if he doesn't want it to roll. The scooter is light enough to load in the car easily and it can come apart if needed. We are thrilled with this purchase and the mobility is returned to our son!

Life Saver for my Son! Highly Recommend!
This Knee Rover Scooter has been such a helpful ride, For my 9-year-old with a broken ankle, itโs mobility with pride. He zips around the school hallways, steady, safe, and fastโ A comfy way to get around while his healingโs going past. It turns with ease, it glides so smooth, no wobble, slip, or fearโ A trusty little transport that keeps his spirits cheer. For injured kids who need to move without a hop or crawlโ This scooterโs been a lifesaverโฆ truly best of all!

Great help for my short 8-year old
My 47" tall 8-year old has been in and out of a cast for months with a foot condition. Using crutches across the vast elementary school campus with her bookbag, lunch, water bottle, etc was becoming combersome on her and the friends who were helping her. This was the perfect solution. No more bookbag and crutches on her underarms! The basket enabled her to "carry" her own water and lunch box to the cafeteria and she could wear her bookbag and maneuver around the school campus. We shifted the middle seats in the mini van and the scooter fit between the seat and the door without having to fold it down or set it up during drop off and pick up. The turn radius isn't the best but that forced her to slow down when moving through the house so it's not necessarily a bad thing. The scooter did begin to squeak after about 2 weeks of use, but she's back in a walking boot so there isn't need to address the issue. I'm very happy with this scooter. I put it together myself in about 15 minutes and that's with the children interrupting me. I hope we don't have to use it in the future but I'm glad we have it in case we do.

It works
I am an aldult under 5 feet. This roller fits well. Because of its small size, it is easy to maneuver in a small powder room, big bonus !. Non-weight bearing, I used the walker to hop around for 2 weeks, as result , my shoulders and wrist really hurt. I am glad I got this roller. The roller squeaks after 2 days of use., the padding rips at the corner after 4 weeks of use but I can live with it. Other than that, everything else is ok. Thanks for a good product.

producto que arregla la vida
es un producto invaluable, le arregla la vida a las personas que tienen un problema en una pierna o un pie, les da una libertad e independencia que no pueden darle una silla de ruedas o unas muletas, en verdad es un producto excelente, una estupenda idea

Ideal for short adults as well as children
Great alternative to using crutches which can prove to be very painful and tiring especially if you have arthritic hands. Lightweight and well made and enables user to have free hands. Only down side would be the colours (great for kids) but this scooter is ideal for small adults and a more neutral colour would be appreciated. Keeps you sane when forced to be non-weight bearing for a number of weeks !

Good to have in an emergency! (If you have boney shins you will need padding!)
Really good idea BUT FOR me I have a problem, not much flesh on my shins! I could have done with purpose made cushion/padding to fit over the kneeling area! Used a kneeling pad which worked but not as well as something which fitted properly! I needed help in an emergency to get around the house, broke my calceneus and was advised to hop with a Zimmer for 10 weeks, just a muslin bandage, it is challenging to do for one day but 10 weeks is ridiculous! I would give it 5 stars if I had more flesh on my shins! The product is well made, good balance and manoeuvrable and light enough to push up and down from Hall to Kitchen whilst balancing on one leg!
