FastRack #8 Straight Corks, 8" x 1 3/4" (Pack of 100)

These appear to be of great quality. I didn't open the package because I didn't end up needing them, but you could feel the good quality through the package. I originally purchased to use for a craft to paint for a baby shower to make tater tots but was trying to teach myself to crochet to make them, which I got enough of those done. These would have worked!

On every listing for corks for sale, you see complaints about corks breaking on removal. Even these. I am about to purchase my 5th bag of these and have never had any break. Of course, I store my wine on its side like you’re supposed to do so they don’t dry out, but these are top quality corks. There are slightly cheaper corks for sale on Amazon, but I know these work great, so I keep buying them.

Easy to use with my floor standing corker. Nice and firmly in that gives me confidence the cork won't blast out later. I drink within two years anyway, but they would go longer if needed. Perfect quality, as I have boought from quite a few suppliers, and these are the most consistent and solidly made I have used, just the right size to fit and put in tightly, as they should. I use them in 23 and 50 oz bottles and they work perfectly. I have use 100's of these over the last several years, not one odd, deformed one, a great quality controlled product and as low a price I ever found. I highly recommend.

Excellent corks! They fit easily into recycled wine bottles and also newly purchased bottles (both 750ml and 1.5L). I do put them in a bowl of water for a minute before inserting them. Very happy with these.
