can this cleaner work with just water on the cloth?

Hi. We've used it with cleaners, but yes, you could use just water...we've needed to clean off dirt and dust, so just using watermsy leave a smear or foggy look

Which cloth do you use to clean and which to dry?

I use the terri cloth cover for light use, meaning there's a typical build-up of dust, finger smudges, and interior detail product on the glass. I have also used it to clean a heads up display in a Corvette Z06.
