#1 Great Tool but NOT for power gripping (PLEASE READ)
I got mine June 7th 2022 and the handle broke some yesterday September 19th 2022. Before I start, I was very rough with this 40 inch grabber. It's a great grabbing tool with a good reach. The tool is 39 3/4 inches long from closed tip to tip of hanging hole. (Where EZPIK Logo is) It has a 3 7/8 inch maximum inner opening, and can lift a maximum of 4 pounds. I was able to pick up my 4.2 lb boots off floor and carry them but couldn't hardly lift up too high. Maybe 2 to 3 feet off ground. The wire hasn't broken or shown any signs yet and I man handled it a lot. The 40 inch is too long for my mom to use in her 70s. She can't use no longer than a 36, in case you are looking for elderly people, it works great for them. But works great outdoors and also can bring the item to you after grabbing it, in a 90 degree angle, as it folds to you. So once an item is grabbed when the tool is straight, don't let go when it folds back to you or you won't be able to grasp the object once folded in past 90 degrees. It might drop the object if you let go off handle and re squeezing. Probably not intended to be use like that, could be why my handle broke. But still worth buying again because I used it for a lot of heavy lifting every day. Works great for grabbing things behind dryers, washers, dressers, fridge, and more. Basically I put it to the test except for, beating it up and leaving it outside in the rain or submerging under water. I might get back to you when I find that out after I try to buy another one. Right now he's still kicking and working ok. Claw Tip: Pull claw out and turn some, let go while turning, til it pops back down back in place, to turn claw in another angle. Claw can only go up and down or left and right.

Good grip
I have purchased three of these products. They are identical except for the length. I first bought a 40" grabber. This length is ideal for reaching under furniture, etc., and to avoid having to stoop over in case your back hurts. But it is too long to use effectively to pick up trash due to inability to place trash in bag in your opposite hand. I therefore recommend the 32" picker if that is what you have in mind. The pickers are sturdy. The claw end is very precise and grasps an item firmly. There are strong magnets on the sides which enables you to pick up stuff easily.. You have to firmly hold the handle end lever to pick up stuff, but it's not much of a problem, and it operates easily for any arthritic hand to use. You can operate it with three fingers. The picker folds in half via release of a clip at the midway point in the shaft. If there was going to be a failure in the product, it would be at that clip. Well, let me tell you what happened with my first 40" picker. I tried to forcefully drag a paper that was stuck under the wheel of a chair. When I did that, I torqued the shaft and broke it. The shaft broke at the clip. The whole thing cracked and crumbled. But the clip never broke. I have confidence in the strength of the clip. You can break the shaft, but not easily. I just over did it. The only thing to consider is the position of the pistol grip to the claw. Some pickers have the claw perpendicular to the pistol handle, but this one is up and down in line to the handle. I personally don't care, but you might have a preference. I rebought my 40" picker and added a 32" picker for yard trash. These pickers are strong, the claws are very precise and uniform, and the pistol grip is easy to operate. There are a couple of ways to hang up the picker, which are by a clip mounted on the shaft and also a molded in plastic loop for a nail, also sturdy. The seller was quick with all deliveries, and the product came as advertised. There are no instructions, but you don't need any.

Outstanding customer service
I received this heavy duty grabber five days ago, and was very impressed. It was sturdy, long enough that I never had to bend over (Iโm a week out of spinal surgery), and I loved that it was collapsible. Unfortunately, after four days, it broke. Upon contacting the company, they replied immediately, offering to refund or replace the item, so Iโm quite pleased. (Since I loved the design, I chose to replace it, figuring it was just a fluke.) They were also very kind, despite my snarky email. For outstanding customer service and compassion (a rarity nowadays), Iโm giving them 5 stars. This company is a pleasure to deal with.

Definitely Recommend
Works as advertised! I am able to pick up small objects and itโs great with assistance getting dressed after knee replacement surgery Iโm 6โ3โ so the length is fine for me however I would suggest a shorter length for someone under 5โ 9โ. It is not intended to pickup heavier or bulky objects and I can certainly see this being something challenging with a one-handed operation. Grabbing small jars and cans from lower or high shelves is easily accomplished and the flexible joints work well. Great value for the money

Strong and Versatile
These work great. The one note I would make is that 40" is longer than it sounds, and the angle can get weird, which sometimes impacts my ability to pick up small pieces of trash. The magnet is good for small items and I like the versatility of the rotating head. The locking mechanism has worked well so far, and I have been able to pick up at least 8-pound items without concern for it breaking. They fold down well and fit inside small drawers. For getting 2 of them in an order, I would say this is well worth the money.

EZPIK is an amazing product if you don't mind snapping the arms on a few
PRO'S AND CON'S โ I've had to replace 5 of these in the last 2 years. They're absolutely wonderful unless you lean the EZPIK against an object, and apply even the slightest pressure to the arms open/close pivot point. This may sound difficult to do but ANYTIME the product is leaned 20โฐ or more against a wall, a chair, or a piece of furniture, if you hit those gripper arms, the thing will break. I have snapped either one or both of the EZPIK's grabbing arms by accidently leaning my elbow on it, I snapped one dropping my PS5 controller on the arm โ from like 3 feet (controller didn't even scratch). And if you ever step on one, both arms snap like toothpicks. Overall: The product is PHENOMENAL if you don't mind breaking a few with very minor, clumsy mistakes. Unfortunately, the individual parts to repair it aren't available so you have to replace the whole unit. Maybe consider one of those warranties they always push or consider a more durable product. On side note: I do leave my 40" opened up all the time. You can avoid everything I just mentioned if you're ok folding it up after every use. I found that to be way too much effort.

Industrial quality at a consumer price.
"Kid tested and Mother approved" I live Van life, this means that I end up parked in places that have people I tend to ignore, doing things I'd rather not be around. Well, whenever, wherever I park, I clean up. Not just after myself, around everyone else as well. The concept is, we all clean our houses right? Well my house is outside (technically) and since I have so many dirty @$$ roommates that don't help, I end up picking up A LOT OF TRASH. I've been through a few different brands but I always end up come right back to EZPik. The reasons I choose EZPik: โข Precision: These can pick up a shaved toothpick without struggle. Other brands claim to have precision grip, it they are politician-level liars. โข Grip size: I took photos to show, these are WIDE, like my ex-wife. โข Versatile: Able to grab a single toothpick from rough concrete, or a full spray bottle from a high shelf on the first attempt (the other brand in the photos? The nicest way to put it is: they are so bad they gave me cancer in my b@ยกยก$) I am not paid or endorsed in any way to make this review, which means I gain nothing for doing it. Which is also why you can trust me when I say, just buy EZPik, they are better.

Loved the first one, ordered a second
Hubby broke our pickup stick, which we badly need and I got straight onto Amazon and was shocked at the prices. Ground this one, it was cheaper than the rest, had good features and a range of sizes, and would arrive the next day. So ordered it: arrived in the morning, worked great, hubby lost where he put it 3 times, so ordered a second one for back up, which was to arrive the next day. We seem to have had a driver with a sight issue the second time around, as he left the parcel at the side gate of the house instead of the front door. Found it after the heavy rain storm, when we looked at the photo for delivery. But the item is great, well built, folds and sones in multi lengths- all the things you want, including overnight delivery.

Speedy delivery for great product
Perfect for picking up the smallest of items to some heavy items. Great that it folds down for transportation. Loved the overnight delivery as I ruined my back and needed this to assist as soon as possible

A lifesaver when you cannot bend!
I needed something like this due to some medical issues that meant I could not bend at all. These work really well. I was surprised that, with a bit of trial and error, I could even pick up a post-it-note from the floor and other small things. They fold up very nicely. Do be aware that they are not very light. But they are very solid. I could lift 1 kg water bottles. I was also able to open the drawer on the bottom of my really old stove/oven (a combination that they seem to call a "range" these days), and grab a frying pan around the handle and bring it up to the stovetop. After cooking and cleaning I could do the reverse and get the pan back in the drawer. Also: no more tears when I dropped something on the floor - completely out of reach! Really helpful! With the pair I could leave one in the kitchen, the other leaning against my bed.
