Great value and quality!
Excellent quality and incredible value. 0.9mm pencils are great for schoolchildren instead of #2 pencils as they are much less likely to break while writing.

Good value
As a casual drawer this set is the best I've had. Good weight and feel. I like the varied gauges and have discovered that I love the 2mm; very versatile set. Also, superb erasers. Feel durable, so doubt I will have to, but would buy again, or as a gift.

It's worth the money I'm glad I got it
I like how small the pencils right and it's a good color and it's easy to erase

Great for sketching/drawing and good value
The mechanical pencils work great for sketching. There's a lot of lead provided too so you can use it for a long time. Erasers on the mechanical pencils are a little flimsy but once you get used to them they're great for erasing small details of a drawing. The large erasers work really well too. Overall the set provides really good quality stuff to draw and for a good price.

Good for kids who want nice pencils but will likely lose them
In short, literally what the title says. They actually have a lot of perks to them like a decent rubber grip that will likely soften and become grippier over time (a little hard for my liking but they literally just got here so this is just my initial impression), or even the 2.0 cap has a sharper on it! They are definitely better than a Bic your kid will find on the floor, but also cheap enough that arguably, wonโt be a big deal if they lost it like if it was a Kuru Toga Advance or something. Thatโs kinda the only praise I can think of giving them now. Anyone whoโs curious about why Iโm only giving this a 4 star and any other opinions/recommendations I have, feel free to read on: Now I knew what I was likely getting when ordering these, so I wasnโt expecting TOO much, howeverโฆ As someone who does avidly collect mechanical pencils of varying qualities and brands, it seemed a bit absurd to me that the gold pencils - while admittedly look cool - are primarily plastic with only the grip section being the only โmetalโ part. And of course even then the metal feels cheap, which is fine! I definitely was expecting that given the price point and how much you were getting. I was honestly expecting some weight to them (I like my pencils a little heavier but thatโs just preference of course), or a cooled initial touch, but not even thatโฆ. So that was a huge let down for me. The title description said metal so I assume *everything* was metal of some sort. Thatโs the only reason I canโt give it a 5 star rating, but what follows is more of just airing out my thoughts, nothing really much more negative than this. Being very real here, this brand is basically using molds/ideas from other established brands that sell these exact pencils at a better quality and higher price point of course. In other words, this is the store brand version of the name brand. So as long as you donโt mind/havenโt used a quality pencil like that, these should be fine! Some other things to note about both the 2.0 and 0.5, 0.7, and 0.9 varieties: 2.0 - this isnโt like the Blocky Gear 2.0 where you push the top and it works like a normal mechanical pencil. This has more a clutch mechanism, what that means that with one push, your lead could easily just fly out of your pencil. So watch out for that! 0.5, 0.7, 0.9 - Iโll be honest, the clicking to advance lead doesnโt feel very good, even Bic pencils feel better than thisโฆ This pencil though, IS metal, most of it at least is. The grip is quite slippery despite it being rubber, so give it time to soften and potentially become grippier. Listen at the end of the day, these pencils will get the job done like a regular wooden pencil would, and if youโre on a budget, these pencils are okay enough. I only got these because I was hoping the gold pencil would feel close enough to a brass pencil I had 3682737 years ago. But if I did have to recommend a pencil dupe from this brand, I would get the pencils from the BLOCKY GEAR line, they are a lot like Pentelโs Graphgear 1000 line! And itโs actually a lot more comfortable than this particular set of pencils, not to mention they feel more like metal pencils, arguably a better bang for your buck if you can afford them :) These arenโt bad pencils, just a little different from what I was expecting and definitely different from what Iโm used to (that part was to be expected of course) Do what you wish with this information, I donโt care, Iโm just here to give an unsolicited opinion.

Good buy
For only $9, this is a very good kit. As a college student, this is a good buy. Everything inside feels quality. And plenty of lead. It may not be the cheapest out there but its very good.

Cheap But Valuable Way To Break Into Art
It's hardly likely you'll spend a small fortune gathering art materials to start your journey, but you still do want more than just a single pencil in your hand for getting going. This Nicpro set does that and a whole lot more than you'd expect at the price. Covering both finer line art and shading across two types of pencils, filled to the brim with refills, it has you covered for almost everything you'll need to get started. Of course, this pack in particular eschews a kneaded eraser and colored leads- both of which can be found in slightly more expensive packages from Nicpro- but in my experience starting out, I never really found a need for either of those. Art is best learnt at its simplest in the beginning. Bells and whistles will only further distract you, so having such a thoughtfully pared down kit available at the cost of a notebook makes it really easy to dive into drawing.
