Works great so far! I have had the camera for about a month now and it is working excellently! It connected right up to wifi with no problems. I had a little difficulty a few years ago setting up a couple of older ezviz outdoor cameras. I managed to get them connected to wifi, but it took a lot of choice words! 😉 This new one was a breeze. Apparently ezviz has straightened out what ever the problem was a few years ago. Other than the initial setup on my older outdoor cams, I have had super service out of them. This new indoor cam is no different. The image quality is excellent. You can store everything on an sd card, without using cloud. They just work and are affordable. The prices have climbed a little since I first started using ezviz, but you can still usually catch them on sell once a month or so. The app is easy to use. I love everything about ezviz, except the slowly climbing price. I have seen several cams lately with much cheaper prices. I have already ordered a couple to try. If they perform similar to ezviz, I may switch over. Companies seem to have forgotten there is such a thing as competition to keep them honest. People like to say you get what you pay for, but that is not always true. I have found many cheaper products just as good as the higher priced ones. I think it is more about greed. Most of the time, not always, I have found the quality to be about the same.

This EZVIZ camera has been a very good purchase. Although this model is not 2K, the image quality is more than sufficient for the space where I installed it. The image is clear and stable, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. In terms of performance, I have no complaints at all. The camera works perfectly and has been reliable so far. I also own other EZVIZ cameras that are 2K, and they are amazing, which reinforces my positive experience with the brand overall. I believe this camera offers a very good quality-to-price ratio, especially if you don’t specifically need 2K resolution and are looking for a dependable camera for everyday monitoring. The only thing I would like to see improved—and I’m not sure if this depends directly on the camera or the integration—is the compatibility with Alexa. I haven’t been able to pair it with my Alexa device, which would allow me to take better advantage of some of the smart features. That said, it’s a camera I do recommend. It delivers what it promises and works very well within its specifications.

I’ve been using this EZVIZ PTZ camera inside the house and honestly, it’s one of the best I’ve tried. The fact that I can control the camera remotely—move it around, tilt it up or down, rotate it—is super useful. If I hear a noise or just want to check in on things, I can open the app and look around the room without needing multiple cameras. One thing I really like is the privacy mode. When I turn it on, the camera literally moves the lens downward and hides it inside the body. You can actually see that it’s not watching, which gives a lot of peace of mind, especially for an indoor camera. Like the other EZVIZ products I have, you don’t need to pay for a subscription unless you want to. I just use a microSD card and it records everything locally. Super easy to set up, and the app is very intuitive. I can check the live view or recorded clips from anywhere, whether I’m home or on the go. I’ve used other indoor cameras before, but none had this combo of flexibility and privacy. EZVIZ really nailed it with this one.

This honestly is a great camera. I do recommend it. However, there are a few flaws that I want to share. First the pros: 1) small, lightweight, and well made 2) great video quality 3) can be bought as a single unit (so you don’t have to get a whole “system” if you don’t need to) 4) it has the ability to record to an SD card, and this model has one of the largest capacity SD card ability that I’ve seen. However it does also have a cloud storage feature (for a fee). 4) using the app you can pan and tilt the camera easily, view recordings, and set features. 5) The panning ability (from left to right) of this camera is amazing because of the round design of the device. It also can tilt up and down. 6) the app also allows you to set it if you want it to follow a person or to stay stationary. In other words, if you set it to notice people, it will follow/track a person’s movements in that room. Otherwise, you can just have it as a view of the room as a whole. 7) it records sound as well as video, and also has a feature that allows you to talk and be heard in the room where the camera is located. Cons: 1) The instruction paper that come with it is not overly detailed. I had to play around with it within the app to figure out some of the features. 2) The location of where to insert the SD card is obscure and a bit hard to find. The instructions don’t explain it well. 3) I am using the camera as a security camera, and as such, I wanted a full view of the room with out having to pan. I found that the only way to really achieve that is to mount the camera on the wall. I rent the space, so I did not want to drill into the wall. So, I used a Command Strip small shelf for it to sit on. This worked well, but the problem is that when it’s higher up, you need to tilt the camera downward. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have an ability to tilt too far downward. (It’s panning ability for left to right is awesome, though). That meant that I had to put it only half-way up the wall, so it could “look down at the room”, which is not exactly a subtle place. I suppose you could hang it from the ceiling, but I have dropped ceilings, so that was not an option for me. These issues are not necessarily something everyone will experience, because it depends on your purpose for having the camera, the size and configuration of the room it’s in, etc. I just wanted to relate my experience. 4) If you’re using an SD card for video storage, be aware that it will overwrite over older video recordings when it reaches the end. There is no indication on the app of how much space is remaining on the card. Overall, it’s a great little camera, and I recommend it. I just feel that there are a few features that could be improved.

Been using this camera for several weeks now and here are my observations. Got this camera mostly to keep an eye on my dog when we are away. Great price for a indoor camera and meshes in with the rest of my outdoor EZVIZ cameras. PROS: Great price. It was easy to hook up and get on-line. The pan and tilt feature from your phone works well (mostly). The picture is good for the resolution limit. CONS: There is no privacy feature that lets you turn off the video, rotate the camera up into the housing or a shield that comes down over the lens like most of the other cameras have. The speaker audio is HORRIBLE. There is no volume adjustment when you want to talk through the camera and it is very loud, it just screeches and echo's over and over again so you can't understand what is being said through the microphone. When you turn on the audio to listen on your phone, the echo effect is really bad and you can't hear what is going on in the room. Sometimes there is really bad screen lag when watching the video. I have the resolution down to the lowest setting but it's still choppy. At first I thought it might be my internet connection but I don't have this problem with any of my other cameras. In order to fix the issue I have to close the app and re-launch it which fixes it for a while. The camera lens does not rotate down far enough. I have the camera on a shelf about 5" off the floor so I can get a good view of the room. When I rotate the lens all the way down, it doesn't show the floor about 10 feet away and stops about 4 feet up. I have to physically tilt the camera up by placing an object under the back of the bottom base to tilt it forward so I can see what is going on with the dog in the room. Overall it's a good camera but not great. If I were to do it over again, I would probably look into one of the other, more expensive models to see if they had better features that would solve some of the shortcomings of this camera. I have not tried the "Auto Detect" or the "Night Vision" features yet, so can't comment on those.

Pour le prix , je vous conseil vivement l'achat par rapport à la caméra vendu chez un concurrent qui est moins pratique et fonctionnel. Les point positifs rapidement installés. Qualité top pour le prix "vous pouvez toujours voir ce qui se passe chez-vous, possible de relier au cloud pour l'enregistrement. La caméra fournie une bonne qualité d'image et de sons. Je trouve que la caméra est imposante par rapport à d'autre modèle du même prix. Caméra silencieuse, câble long. Si il y a une coupure de la caméra vous pouvez recevoir une alerte. Ce qui manque est de pouvoir être utilisable sans Wi-Fi et sans électricité. Mais hormis cela fonctionne parfaitement pour le prix. Maintenant cela ne vaut pas une caméra professionnelle. Mais assez pour surveiller votre maison. Moi j'ai un système d'alarme chez-moi, mais aux moins je peux surveiller certaines pièces, comme exemple mon garage, etc.

I bought this to help keep an eye on my grandad who has dementia for when he gets up in the middle of the night so that I know to put him back to bed. It's easy to set up and the app is really easy to use. The night vision is brilliant. The motion capture is fantastic and tracks movement really well. Great price for what it is and the quality that you get. My only critique would be that when you first set it up it is extremely loud and I couldn't figure out a way to turn it down. After the initial set up though it is practically silent.

Me ha encantado, es robusta y de buena calidad, la colocas donde quieras y la conectas a un enchufe, sigues los pasos que te indican en las instrucciones (que vienen en varios idiomas), es sencillo, te descargas la app para móvil y vas probando todas las funciones que tiene, es silenciosa, la imagen es muy nítida, también se ve estupendamente cuando es de noche, le puedes poner la tarjeta de memoria y si no, también va grabando vídeos cortos, que los puedes ir borrando si no los necesitas, y también compartirlos, puedes hablar, tiene alarma si quieres ponerla, tiene muchas funciones, hay que ir probándolas todas, y cuando no la necesitas la pones en modo descanso y listo. Yo la pongo cuando salgo de casa, y cuando vuelvo, tiene el modo rápido para ver los vídeos, si todo está bien, los borro y lista para seguir grabando cuando quieras. Esta genial, la recomiendo. La compré en negro y tengo los muebles blancos, aún así es muy discreta. (He puesto un paquete de tabaco solamente para que veáis el tamaño)
