Audio-Technica AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Studio Microphone, Black (Renewed)

Amazing sound for vocals, acoustic string, and wind instrument pickup in recording settings. Heavy duty body, this mic is a workhorse. We just did our first project with it, upgrading from an introductory level Behringer mic. Much deeper, fuller sound than other mics in this price range.I bought the "renewed" version. I'm guessing the original purchaser thought they were getting a USB mic instead. This mic was packaged like new. No scuffs. It is as good as factory new.Unless you have the money for a really big time studio mic, mortal ears can barely tell a difference if you do the setup right and have a good room in which to record. Buy this!!!!!!

Ask many streamers what mic they prefer in xlr mics and this mic will be listed time and time again. It's a great mic and I can definitely tell it's far more rich sounding than my previous xlr mic. Perfect for Streaming or podcasting. Renewed I'm guessing because the box had been opened and re-taped. I couldn't tell it had ever been actually used. Fantastic savings. Both the bag and the arm mount adapter are included. There is no pop filter, shock mount, stand or xlr cord included as they don't come with these mics, so please don't mind silly reviews that think these things are implied as included. This is a professional's mic.

I have 2 of these now. I'm becoming a big fan of Audio-Techna. You could easily pay double for any other mic from another brand with similar quality.

A nice simple set up with high quality recording applications. Just added this to our home studio and we love the sound we are getting from it. Handles multiple voices well. Truly worth what you spend.

Absolutely amazing microphone for the price. Even if all you're doing is hobby stuff, it is well worth the price. Very clear and very warm microphone when paired with a good preamp.
