The toy has a warning about chocking hazard from small pieces. What small pieces are they talking about? Is it the shapes?

Some of the blocks seem a bit small and cause me to worry that they’re a choking hazard. My grandchild loves this toy. However, due to choking concerns, we’ve taken the toy away. Looking for a similar toy for a replacement .
