I’m getting older and my daughter suggested months ago that I get a balance board to improve and maintain my balance. She deals with a lot of older people in her job and she’s always telling me about her clients losing their balance and falling and then taking months to recover. Well, I recently did lose my balance and I twisted my ankle really badly. I’ve had a hard time getting back to normal, and I figured that this was the sign from God telling me to get that balance board. I looked at various options and finally settled on this sturdy wooden balance board. I just got it and I love it. I’ll admit that I’m not very good at it, but I’m getting better. It’s been really helpful though rehabilitating my sprained ankle which feels much better since I started using this wobble board. I can also feel the burn from the time on the wobble board in my legs and my core. I’ve been using it in front of the TV. I get up during the commercials and try to see if I can stay balanced until the break is done. I haven’t succeeded yet, but I hope to soon. The non-slip surface and the board itself are effective and well made. It’s definitely a great deal for the money! The thing that’s unique about this board is that there’s a little fox in the middle of it (it’s the company logo) which I think is adorable. He keeps me motivated (although sometimes I imagine him laughing at my hilarious attempts).

I have never used a circular board so when I stepped on it and started spinning, I was ready to return it. There is a caution on the box, but there are likely to be people who miss it. It is very important to first try using this board close to something you can hold on to so that when it spins you don't fall. Having something to hold on to also helps with stepping on and off the board. It's a great board to grow in to, but it is not as easy to feel immediate success as some might with a square board. Although the box says otherwise, I think this board is best for those who are already somewhat fit, if using it with no one around. I kept it because it's challenging and I will improve with practice.

Bought this for my 12 year old son for Christmas but our whole family loves it! Have other kids aged 7, 9 and 14 as well, and we have used this board most of the day each day since Christmas. My kids keep coming up with new ways to use it and the best part is that they are exercising, stretching and helping their core without even realizing it because it is just so fun! Quality of board is great, and it has a non slip surface that is extremely helpful. Also, it comes with a carrying case and it is extremely portable. We already took it to my parents with us and the other grandkids loved it too, even the adults were taking turns using it. Worth every penny.

I just received this 2 days ago. So far, I love it. I've recently had some foot surgery (3 to be exact) and my foot was immobilized for a year and a half. It is healed now, but my ankle and all the muscles in my foot are weak. I've been in physical therapy and have worked it quite seriously. But this little wonder is doing more for me than I ever imagined. I originally found it while looking for sit/stand desks and accessories. I sit at my work a lot and I'm hoping to find a solution for my desk which would allow me to stand. So I've been using the Fitaboo for 2 days, now. I use it while sitting to rotate my foot and keep it moving in directions that it's not used to moving in. Last night I got brave, and as per the directions, I stood between a doorway in my home and was able to use both feet while rocking back and forth on it. I was amazed how much I felt it all over my core, legs, feet, shoulders, etc. I seriously love that the Fitaboo has the disc on the bottom connected with bolts. In some reviews of other similar products, I could see where the disc or half-sphere became separated from the wood. I imagine my Fitaboo will long outlive myself! This arrived within the 2 day time estimate. It was very nicely packaged. I would totally recommend this to anyone who is wanting to strengthen their core, ankles, knees, back, etc.

Purchased to use at work, we have ergo-adjustable sitting/standing desks at work and I wanted something that I could use to improve my core and balance while standing and working, this is perfect! Once you find your center of gravity and your balance the wobble board is easy to use, I like that you can adjust your foot position to make it more challenging, its really good to stretch your calves and achilles; I had other office staff come try it out, several have already ordered one for themselves. The quality of the board is excellent and I love the carrying bag. I highly, highly recommend this board.

We love it. It sits out in the living room and everyone just takes turns standing on it whenever they want to - fun and challenging. Love that it's wooden and sturdy. My youngest is into baseball where balance is a key element. He's good on it and can do some mini squats and such. He apparently has worked with a similar piece of equipment in his gym classes at school. I on the other hand have a hard time just standing on it while holding on to something! That's great for me as I need some knee/balance work and this is low impact yet fun way to get a little work in without straining myself. So love that it's fun and useful for all fitness levels. Big hit as a Xmas gift for my whole family.

Have a stand up desk and looking for something besides just standing. Ordered two boards, one intermediate (another vendor) and one advanced. This advanced board is going to require a little training. Board appears to be well made. Has abrasive material on top to assist with maintaining balance. Board is an outstanding price compared to others and would definitely order again if I ever needed to. Based upon construction, do not think that will ever need to order again. While I do not use all day, just for spurts throughout the day. Will definitely make you work. Great product and vendor emailed me to see if board was working out. Greatly appreciated.
