Use Pex Expander Rings with these fittings
As Avery C. and Marc Cram noted, these fittings are exactly the size of the ID of the intended hose as opposed to being 1/32 oversized as many other of this type of fitting are. This makes it imperative to use a strong clamp to keep them tight in the hose. I generally prefer using a ferrule rather than a hose clamp to hold these, since ferrules are more streamlined and less prone to failure. Whenever the hose diameter permits, I now use Pex expander rings rather than brass ferrules (which are more size adaptable). They are quicker, smoother and more easily removed if needed. I use the Pex rings for both air and water hose and they work GREAT!

These fittings are used for the air hose on my drywall spray rig they fit like a charm work really good

Barb is too small
Used for compressor hose that is 3/8", the barb fitting went in with no effort and the reason is because the barb is too small. Does not work with the supplied hose clamps or the crimp ferrel connectors that I bought. The hose clamps that came with the fittings stripped when tightened so those are no good either. Now I am sending them back and looking for a different manufacturer. Tailonz needs to QC their products a little better.

Great for repairing or making new air lines
I like the brass fittings they are a better to work with than the steel ones if you need to change one out. A good product and GREAT service and FAST Shipping. Good people to deal with

Machined down barbs ruin a otherwise good product.
These may work. I needed to replace the lines running to a foot valve on a Trinco blast cabinet and it is easier to just make new ones then buy replacements. There is definitely some cost cutting going on here and not in a good or safe way. The barbs have been machined down enough that pushing the fitting into 3/8” id air hose requires zero effort. See the circled areas in the attached picture. For reference the top fitting was purchased at Lowe’s. Will it hold @80 psi we’ll see. I will be doubling up on hose clamps or 1/2” pex copper crimp rings on these. I won’t purchase these again for making air hoses greater then 10psi.
