What's a project if it's trapped on your desk? Now you can take your Arduino anywhere you wish with the PowerBoost shield! This stackable shield goes onto your Arduino and provides a slim rechargeable power pack, with a built in battery charger as well as DC/DC booster. Compatible with Arduino Uno, Duemilanove, Mega, Leonardo and Due - basically any Arduino-pinout-shaped Arduino as only the GND and 5V pins are used. You can stack shields on top, or stack the PowerBoost on top. Please note that the powerboost does not pass through the ICSP headers (the battery is in the way) so if your stacking shield uses ICSP for data transfer (like the Ethernet Shield), you'll need to stack the PowerBoost above it!

Does exactly what I wanted
Using it with the Arduino Uno and Adafruit Motorshield. Works as advertised. I wanted my device to behave as a cell phone would (use it on battery, and use it while plugged in charging). It does just that. Setup was quick and easy. I like that it came with an on/off switch, instead of having to unclip the battery every time you want the device off. This made it a lot easier than having to build a charging circuit.

Great for field testing IoT sensors
Ideal for Arduino projects. Perfectly fits a number of 1200 & 1600mAh batteries I had. Affixed with 1 drop of glue. Recharge works well & has different colored LEDs to show charge stays, nice touch there. I use this on wireless pro type sensors & can get a few days out of LoRaWAN shields + sensors.

Cant manage to get the pins soldered correctly. They really couldn't go the extra step?

Truly wireless arduino projects!
Fantastic! I use this board to power my Arduino wifi weather station. Powered the Arduino, wifi shield, and a handful of sensors including temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and UV index. Keeping it charged with a Sunkingdom 5w solar panel.

Waste of money
Waste of money. it can't do more then light up a few LEDs. If you try to so something useful you will damage this board.
