Get This Game!
This game is a must-have for a toddler. It has been always out of stock and when it was available, I jumped on the opportunity. I can see why this is a popular game. Not difficult for our toddler to play with and teaches counting, recognition and following instructions. Great quality

How fun! Super Cute!
This is the cutest game to introduce games to a toddler. Simple easy to follow steps/rules. On top of the option to free play with the set. We have been loving it and having a blast! The pieces are durable and well printed. The cards seem sturdy and like will hold up nicely with kids. I also love that the “box” is a pot so it’s an interactive part of the game, super creative idea. I would like to note that when the product arrived I had the proper number of pieces but not all the right ones. For example. I was missing two of the clovers- two of the recipes required three clovers to be used therefore we weren’t able to use those recipes. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me the missing pieces the next week. Exceptional customer service. Though I do recommend doh or checking.

THOROUGH & HONEST REVIEW - long but worth the read
I really love a lot about this little game. The wooden ingredients and spoon are beautiful and well enough made. The end goal is very straight forward and is appropriate for toddlers who are just learning to count. It also aids in picture matching, fine + gross motor skills, and can be used for imaginative play in multiple ways. In addition to that, as a Mom of 2 under 3 who is very intentional about the toys/games we buy, I HIGHLY appreciate toys/games that have containers that double as play and storage.. HOWEVER, considering it is apart of the game, the bowl should be better quality. When it arrives, the wrap is actually taped directly to the bowl which is essentially just cardboard covered in paper and while I was very gentle and patient, it’s pretty difficult to get it off without causing damage to the bowl which I added a photo of. There are a couple of other places around the bottom where it is already coming up as well and it hasn’t even been given to my toddler yet 🤪 So anyways, if you’re like me and appreciate quality and neatness, that is pretty disappointing.. I did choose to just tape it down with some clear tape for now, but I’ll be interested to see how well it actually holds up over time to young children. I also wish the recipe cards included the name of the ingredients. I feel like it grows with children better if those short words are there which help with reading and word recognition. It could also benefit from some more advanced recipe cards that include some simple addition/subtraction style cards for longevity. Overall, I appreciate how cute this game is, but I do think it’s a little overpriced for the quality and what it has to offer. If the adjustments I suggested above were made it would be worth the price, but as is the quality aligns more with a $13-$15 game. I would probably give this more like 3.5 stars if I could for those reasons.

I bought this for my three-year-old niece for Christmas. She opened it today and immediately started playing with it. The recipe cards inside are nice and heavy duty, while the ingredients are wooden, so they will definitely stand up to a toddler. She loved reading and counting the ingredients on the recipe cards. I would definitely recommend this toy. She absolutely loved stirring the soup!

Fun for toddlers!
My 2.5 year old absolutely loves this game!! It’s perfect for him in terms of skill (basic identification of objects, counting up to 3) and attention span (each recipe card takes about a minute to complete, and we can do as few or as many as he likes given his mood). The pieces are durable (though the box ripped when I was removing the packing, but doesn’t impact gameplay). Easy to store, too — everything fits back in the soup pot!! This is something he pulls out and plays with multiple times per week, so definitely a big hit in our household.

This is a fun and versatile game. I was able to use it with the toddler and the preschooler to match each of their needs. Sturdy game pieces.

Great game, one flaw
Great game for little, my only complaint is the colour of the blueberries don’t match, they’re blue on the little pieces but purple on the cards and the difference was significant enough for my 24 month old to notice

Very fun!
My son, 2.5 years old, absolutely loves this game! I love that it inspires such imaginative play. He doesn't like to use the provided recipe cards instead he makes his own or pretends to cook them in his play kitchen. Very fun!
