Coghlan's Trail Tape, Orange

There's nothing to not like about this tape unless you want it for free. For the cheap price, you actually get quite a lot of it. It's very easy to tear off, which I really like. On a recent hiking outing to a new waterfall, I found the so-called trail pretty bad. I used the tape on trees as I walked in. On my way out, I definitely needed the tape to find my way out. It's very visible and it stands out well in a dense forest. Don't hesitate - get some for your own safety.

This tape is great and lasts a long time even in the extreme elements of the mid Atlantic summers and winters and high winds where I live. Does sometimes need to be replaced but at the price, no big deal!

Easy to tear and easy to see. We tied it on trees to mark our property lines.

It is extremely bright as you want it to be. It’s more expensive than others but I want to make sure it works when I need it.This is gonna come handy when navigating unknown trails.It can be handy if you are preparing a survival kit because if you are getting lost or need to return to your car after looking for a creek ... this will help you mark where you came from... or where you have already been.

If you need to venture off trail to find water, go to the bathroom, etc, it's great to have this to help mark your way back to the trail. Can untie and reuse as well.This may seem frivolous, but the second you're lost in the woods, you'll wish you had it. Common advice on the best thing to do when lost is stay put, hoping that once you are considered missing the authorities can find you (if you're moving, they can't track you down). In some cases, you have no choice to keep moving. Many folks who try to find their way out of the woods end up walking in circles - this tape helps here.

I bought the item on-the-fly with assumptions based off the name, which includs the word "tape." It's just ribbon and has no adhesive or tacky side, which is what I was looking for.

I used this to mark a trail, highly visible and easy to use

très léger mais quand même visible et se déchire facilement. Selon la notice pour du balisage genre courses etc... Utilisation : marquer des points à visualiser en manœuvrant une voiture, signaler des tuteurs et des plantes etc...

Cet article répond bien à mon attente, mais l'épaisseur du ruban, et par conséquence sa résistance, est un peu faible.

Ich benütze dieses Band zur Fährtenarbeit mit meinem Hund. Es ist witterungsbeständig, weithin sichtbar und weich. Ausserdem etwas dehnbar. Man kann damit prima den Verlauf der Fährte markieren und findet es beim Einsammeln auch problemlos wieder. Es macht kaum/keine Geräusche beim Flattern.
