I still have algae growing I did water changes and the bottle is finish now please advise

Keep your lights off for a week if it's a non planted freshwater or a FOWLR tank. Then get a smart outlet or power strip and set it to 7-8hrs a day or I only turn my lights on when I'm in the room looking at the fish.

Will it kill brown algae?

If you are asking about diatoms, no it will not.

Is this axolotl safe?

As with any chemical you introduce in you gish tank you got to follow instructions. I put algaecide in my tanks but alwsys less than the recommended dosage.

Will this help keep algae from growing on tank walls?

Depends on what the issue is. should help make sure clean all the dead algae away and I’ve seen great results with and with no chemicals and just covering the tank with towels or a blanket if you don’t have live plants just make sure the vent or breathing holes are open or you will over heat the water
