how much weight can it handle?

This is Excellent quality, I have had it loaded down with clothes hanging on the rack and three heavy boxes on the bottom shelf for months now and it is just like new, the best garment rack I have ever had, and I have had a few of them!! Very good quality!! Hope this helps, I don't know the exact weight limit but it is Very sturdy and stable!!

Is it easy to take apart for traveling? I would want to use it for craft shows, so need to be able to transport it in my van

Can this fit inside a closet?

It would depend on how big your closet is. It can’t hold heavy things like coats and such.

Great Value, easy assembly, quality product

Super easy to put together, less than 5 minutes. Big enough to hold all the samples I have, 36 garments. Fantastic price for what you get.Yes it is tippy and you do need to hang on to the front and back lower when wheeling it around, but it was not a big enough issue to subtract a star.
