***UPDATE*** I'm about 20k miles in since I put this stuff in and the transmission is still shifting great! No signs of shutter and smooth shifts. If you are on the fence, I say do it! It has worked out great for me. Previous Review: I have a 2019 Chevy Traverse that had developed a decent amount of shutter through different gears. I had changed the trans fluid with AC Delco OEM fluid with no effect on the shutter. I did some research and found the GM TSB for Silverados etc saying that this stuff should be used in all of those going forward. I rolled the dice with this and bought two cases. I did the "double dump" I drove it in between and even with just five and a half quarts in, the shutter was gone. I went ahead and did the second dump to get as much of this stuff in as possible. I have now driven 6k more miles and no hint of a shutter or any other issues. I don't know if this is harmful in any other way to this specific transmission (short term or long term) but I rolled the dice and so far it's working great. This fluid is fully synthetic and is GM's "HP" spec, meant for the new 8 speed transmissions, some of which suffer from a "shudder" issue. As it is a premium fluid and it's specs are slightly better (viscosity index, flash point) than Dexron VI fluid, I figured I would give it a go when I changed the transmission fluid in my Canyon diesel with the 6L50 transmission. My truck only had 40K miles on it and has not been worked hard, the OEM fill was in good shape. I would rather change the fluid early instead of letting it get dirty. 40K is way early, but I was bored with all the CV-19 hoopla and wanted to turn some wrenches in my garage. Honestly was not expecting to notice much difference, but the fluid change made a nice difference! It shifts notably smoother and quicker with the good juice in the trans, and tow/haul mode no longer feels like I am driving a dump truck, it is much smoother. Very pleased with this fluid. Other good choices include Amsoil and Redline. I have heard that GM transmissions tend to thrash their fluid - it makes sense to spend a bit extra, put good stuff in there earlier than specified, enjoy a better driving vehicle, and possibly avoid headaches later. So don't get hung up if you drive a GM 6L50 equipped vehicle. You can do better than synthetic blend Plain Jane Dexron VI - this fluid is a good candidate.

This is liquid gold. I change my trans fluid every 12 months and it has made my 8 speed in my Silverado feel like butter.

I have a Chevy 2019 Silverado 1500 trailboss and we decided to replace the transmission fluid at 62000 miles. It had no issues before, but I could tell it is shifting even more smoothly than beforehand.

if you have any chevy or gmc with the known issues of shuddering or missing gears get this fluid.

The recommended oil by GM to remove the shudder from their 8 speed transmission. After a few hundred miles it seems to be gone as the shudder was very noticeable on the HI way and yesterday didn't notice it at all.

Used this oil for my Chevy Colorado as a recommended fluid. Meet or beats all specs. It was priced well and gave me some piece of mind when I changed it with the filter.
