Wife: Betrothed, Book 1

This was a marvelous story that has lots of twists and turns. The character are great and wonderful. This author is well worth reading.

The description of this book was interesting to me some time back. The books kept coming and I thought I would wait until they were all out. I was looking for books and came across them again so I grabbed the first book. It kept me interested but it’s a lot of I want him but I won’t marry or be told what to do by Sofia. Interesting to see what happens next.

Sophia and Hades story is a hot page turner. I couldn’t put this book down. I loved her independence and need to prove she can do everything without a man. I loved how deeply Hades felt for Sophia and wasn’t afraid to be vulnerable . I can’t wait to read the next book.

Penelope really nailed this one. Hades and Penelope are the epitome of fire and ice. I love how she flipped the traditional script of romance, love and power

Parts of this I like. I like Sofia wants to be independent, but there are times she comes off weak. Hades is dangerous , but there are times he is whiney. He is hard and unforgiving. The writing is good. There are steamy scenes. I will read the next book because I have it.

H-Hades Lombardih- Sofia RomanoThis story is really different. We have a very powerful sexy alpha male that becomes obsessed with Sofia & Sofia acts pretty much like a typical guy, gets to sleep around with no commitment. But this guy wants that commitment! I can’t wait to read the nxt one!

I can tell this is going to be a good series by an excellent writer. Although Sofia had the obvious, young graduate’s wish to conquer the world, she didn’t have the real world experience, vision or wisdom to see the world she had actually grown up in. It comes as a real shock to her, and she has a great deal of difficulty accepting it. If only she would just accept the hunk who really loves her.The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the editing. This kind of thing drives me up the wall! This is one sentence on one page with two errors. It wasn’t the only one.“He rubbed nose against mine as he looked at me, his lips brushing over mine like he teasing me.”

First time reading this author and I will say she has a gift for writing steamy scenes🌶️. Between that and the intense chemistry between the two main character’s I didn’t want to put it down . Hope the next is just as good .

Another great series start by Penelope Sky! Quick paced an easy read and characters you won’t help but fall in love with. I can’t wait to start book two.

Another excellent story from this author. Absolutely loved all of the characters and the story line. Entertains from the first page

It has been a while since I read anything by Penelope Sky, yet somehow It feels like it was yesterday. As always, I was into the story by the first chapters and I know for sure this will become another fav series by hers.This particular series begins with the future reading of a gypsy to Hades, our protagonist. Some time later, through his work, he crosses paths with Sofia Lombardi, which becomes his downfall from the beginning.What begins with s** without commitment, evolves to something stronger than that, problem is that Sofia refuses to commit, something that Hades craves as ever.I loved how unique the story is and to see how a heroine is the one who seeks a relationship without commitment, making her intentions clear from the start. I must confess, that I am very curious to see how things progress between them on book two 👀.Honestly, if you are into passionate relationships, where the man falls first and hard for his woman, you should definitely pick this series.

I couldn't stop reading once I started. The author is very good at describing the emotions going thru the characters, I was hooked.I love Hades, I could sense that he had a sensitive side even though he doesn't show it. Victoria is a great female character as well. Honest and determined, love her too.The only tiny little detail that bothered me is the lack of foreplay. The hot scenes are great, well written, but I found the fact that there was zero foreplay (ever) a bit frustrating.

A great story of Hades and Sofia. The first of 5 books and to sat it keeps your attention is an understatement. Love the chemistry between them both. Looking forward to read the second book, WIFE..
