Great buy!
Awesome quality speakers for the price. I can run these for hours off my house battery without draining it! They seem very durable and have nice crisp clean audio. The head unit is very nice and compact too. Overall, great product for the cost.

Absolutely great sound for the price.
Installed in my new 2025 Avid Rogue 20. Install was SUPER easy. I watched like 3 videos and felt like i had the jist of it. Mounted to the center console and it's pretty loud. I have a yamaha 150 and even WOT the music is easily audible. For the price, this is it. IF you're an audiophile, or looking for a better bass response, you're gonna have to add a sub and amp.

When it works, it is great. I fixed a problem
I purchased this on the strength of the reviews I read, looking for a stereo system for my refurbished pontoon boat. Easy to install; the manual is straightforward and also can be downloaded from this site, which I have done as I have had to refer to it. However, much to my dismay, with my 30-year two-stroke Mercury and a single battery powering my boat, the stereo would work great with the engine off, but when I turned the engine on it would cut in and out. Not acceptable. I came back and looked again at the reviews and found some with the same problem, which I must have overlooked initially. I thought this stereo system was a lost cause after reading those reviews and that I would have to replace and be out the money. However, in the refurbishment of my used, 30 year old boat, I added a second battery and a new 4-stroke Mercury 75, and the stereo works great, as it is supposed to. No cutting out. I wonder if the electrical source from the old engine was not as powerful as the new engine's alternator, or if perhaps having two batteries available when the engine is on gave more sustainable power, or perhaps both or maybe there is another reason. So my 1 rating because it did not work has turned to a 4. I can't give it 4 because there is no mention by the manufacturer that there could be a problem, nor what causes the problem or how to fix it. I also installed a new custom-built console, and the stereo's controller is installed above the steering wheel. That is also where I mounted the USB-1/4" input jack. I am very happy now that it is all installed and works properly.

Great product for the money! Connect everything, turn it on, and great sound! Hope it holds up.

500w is a straight up lie.
Ordered this for a cooler boom box build. In spite of several immediate red flags, I installed it anyway to meet a deadline.Red flag 1- 14 ga main power wire, under absolutely ideal conditions this should be 8ga.(assuming it will actually put out 500w)Red flag 2- this 14ga power wire comes with a 15amp inline fuse pre installed, but wait, shouldn’t a 500 watt system pull 40+ amps? (Watts /volts=amps) so 500w/12volts= 42 amps assuming no line loss and ideal voltage. I was worried this fuse would blow immediately or I was gonna be terribly disappointed in output. My fears were confirmed once install was complete. It is nowhere near 500w. Turned all the way up (on the amp and bluetooth device) it is a comfortable listening volume, sitting right next to the speakers. 150w rms by my Klein inductive dc ammeter.. I mean it works but it’s a straight up lie to market this as 500w. Disappointed I didn’t see any other reviews mention that it is theoretically impossible for this to output any more than 180w max in its current configuration. Would not recommend… please spend a little more on something else because you will be disappointed if you order this expecting 500w sound.

Great when Boat isn't eunning
This stereo is amazing when the boat motor is off, as soon as the boat starts we lose the stereo, it is connected to a stand alone battery and we can't figure it out. Called BOSS tech support and they couldn't help us.
