Perfect for 2001 Toyota Camry
This kit fit perfectly in the 5SFE engine of a 2001 Toyota Camry. It's been over 6 months and there are still no signs of leaks. Just remember with the design of 4 nuts holding the valve cover on, you need to go back and re-torque those nuts down after initial install. It's a good idea to check every 6-12 months afterwards, as well, just in case. To those torquing to 17 ft/lbs, the torque spec was updated to 30 ft/lbs at some point. I would worry that 17 would loosen up way easier over time, but 30 will definitely keep it nice and tight with no leaks. Also, while you have the valve cover off, make sure you replace the distributor plug, part number 90339-36001. It's very common for this to start leaking when old and they can be had from your Toyota dealer for $10 or less. It's a metal plug that's coated in rubber and it seals the hole where the distributor was in older models of the 5SFE engine. No rtv is needed, just put it in place and it will seal when the valve cover is properly torqued down. Whatever you do, don't follow the advice of YouTubers that "fix" the leak by slathering the old plug in rtv and put in back in. Again, it's a $10 part and if any of that rtv squeezes into your engine, you're going to have much bigger problems.

Perfect fit, the right part for the job
I donโt think these were the least expensive choice, but it exactly like the original. Itโs fairly easy to install and you will not have oil leaks afterwards. In my case the metal spark plug tubes were leaking where they attach to the head. These are sealed with thread sealer when the car is manufactured and take a lot of effort to remove. If youโre replacing the gasket check for unburnt oil on the spark plugs when you remove them. There are helpful YouTube videos and you will want to use an impact wrench. The cover can require some maneuvering to get it back on. Test a time or two before you put the sealant on the bearing edges.

Installed on my 1997 Toyota Camry with the 5S-FE (4 cylinder). Build quality and fitment is perfect, have had it installed for over a month now and no leaks. When it comes to the torque spec for the spark plug nuts (30mm), I went with 17ft lbs with the orientation middles ones 1st. Then gave it about 2 days of driving and re-torqued it down.

That's the ticket
Nice product for a reasonable price. Gaskets fit perfectly for my 2000 Toyota Camry LE. Valve cover gasket and spark plug seals were quick install and any oil leaks I had from the valve cover are gone. Definitely will purchase from this company again.

good enough for the 1997 Toyota Camry 4cyl
I bought this FelPro based on some internet reviews on the quality of Fel-Pro gaskets. This gasket was purchased for the valve cove on a 1997 Toyota Camry, 4cylinder. All went well, and does't seem to leak. However! Per some advice over the internet (what CAN'T you find on the internet these days :P), it was advised to put some RTV/liquid gasket at the 90deg/sharp-turns in the gasket design as these areas are prone to leak. My method was to fit the gasket into the valve cover itself, then line the block (not the valve cover) with a thin bead of RTV all the way around the block, then place the valve cover (with gasket in place) back over the block. And like the RTV instructions say, hand tighten the valve cover screws ( hand tighten the inside 2 screws first, then the outside 2 screws), wait about 1hour then torque them down. Then let the liquid gasket/RTV cure for about half a day or so before driving.

Worth it to me. 1998 toyota rav4
I drive older cars and have ordered this brand for last 3 valve cover gaskets. Initially was buying cheapest gaskets. Most failed after about 1-2 years. I tried Fel-pro and have only used these since. They are thicker than super-cheap ones and seem to fit better. I will only use these now. Worth the extra price to me. If you enjoy replacing your gaskets and like to practice, then stick with cheapest brand.
