This is a must have safety feature when installing a front wheel motor.
The slots are looser than they should be but still do the job if they are pre rotated so they hold torque immediately. I have installed two sets. I drilled both and added bolts to eliminate the rotary joint. Without the second bolt the safety is gone if the friction at the rotary joint and on the hose clamp up and down the the fork are overcome. I also replaced the hose clamp with a steel strap like the one on a coaster brake.

Good product
The only negative I got say is that package was opened and then resealed by DHL delivery, i did a video but I deleted. Took of the sealed taped by DHL and the package was open...i got the feeling is wasn't worth a lot and sealed

Much better options available
Not ideal. Go to Luna cycle for the better option. I tossed this in the trash

1000watts or more you need them. Especially if using regen brakes
They work fit to axle could be a little better. They are thicker that's a plus. Price is good. Try not to use hose camp to mount it.
