I bought this to stop me from crossing my big toe over the toe next to it at night, as it was causing a lot of pain. Also helped with healing synovitis in the toe after a steroid injection. The item is quite small and if you have a very large big toe they might be too small. You get quite a few in a pack which is good.

I’ve broken my big toe :-( this product is comfortable and easy to apply and helps to keep my toes strapped together which helps the pain. Would recommend.

These would only fit the big toes of children. Waste of money.

Unfortunately at size 10 feet (which isn't that big) the loop just won't go over the big toe. Trying to persuade it to do so only goes to make the problem worse - ie, a broken big toe. It seems to me that there should either be several sizes or some sort of give in the material. Attempts to force the loop over the broken toe don't really help the issue. It looks like it would work ok (on a big toe of the appropriate size, but not on any smaller toes). Have given it 3 stars instead of 1 as it probably works on the right big toe. But useless to me.

This product was just what my husband needed for his toes. They were always getting folded under each other, so with this product this has straightened them together and makes it nice and comfy when he puts his shoes on.

I'm 5 foot 10 inches and a size 9 shoe. The loop does not comfortably fit around my big toe. But, you can put it over your second toe and then bind the big toe to that. So, still a decent solution unless you specifically need the loop over the big toe.

These are not quite sturdy enough to hold broken toes. They should be made of firmer elastic fabric.

I was surprised how great this worked for me! Immediately helped correct my discomfort. I am walking better both with and without shoes!

First off, I think unless you have really slim feet, if you're a man, these aren't going to fit your big toe. I think that maybe they might be okay for a woman (they were listed as "large"), but certainly didn't fit me.I was able to 'fashion' a type of splint using two: Opening one and wrapping it around the big toe, then using a second over the second toe and connecting it. The velcro doesn't hold the best either, so all in all, I ended up just going back to wrapping them with tape. I think that's more effective and certainly more cost effective than these.

I have small feet with hammer toes on each foot. It was difficult to wrap them around my big toe and hammer toe without them being too far forward to adequately cover my hammer toe. If I wrapped it tightly further down to cover the hump in my hammer toe the edge was rubbing the skin between my big toe and hammer toe. It takes me a while to get it positioned just right but when I do it is comfortable and works as shown.
