Use this with my dog and it was a great help! The dosing is explained it comes with a little scoop it is hard to dose out kind of like cornstarch that kind of consistency very fine and a bit clingy so just remember you're going to have to be patient if you're going to use this and careful! My dog has other health issues so it's easy for him to have UTIs and so far since we use this no more problems I've tried herbal remedies in the past I really think this was what made the difference! Of course you have to do it all try the herbal supplements boost immune system and so on. I like that this was a standalone product if I want to get a probiotic I'd rather pick up live probiotic and I'd like to know that this is here and ready to go and I need it!

My cat was recently diagnosed with feline idiopathic cystitis (sterile/no infection). It's triggered by stress (so they say!), and forcibly pilling or syringing him with supplements from the vet was stressing him out even more. It was not working anyway - the liquid would go everywhere, except inside his mouth, and he would scratch me and then hide and not let me go near him again. Not a good long term solution and extremely trust breaking. I thought I would never be able to help him feel better. I tried mixing the vet-prescribed liquid supplement (Furinaid) in his food but he refused to eat it. One teaspoon of this d-mannose powder mixed into his food and he eats it no problem! I am very happy we found something that works and doesn't stress him out. He doesn't even know. It absorbs/mixes fast and very well with his ground raw food and seems to not have a suspicious flavor or change the texture of the food. So on that note I'd recommend it to the most suspicious/fussy cats. I also mix in a tablespoon of water to each meal, for good measure, even though raw food is already high in water. He's now been peeing in the litter box, instead of on the floor or couch, which is a good sign of healing. I plan to maintain him on this twice a week, for a while, and more frequently if he shows any signs of a flare-up.
