Don’t, just don't go looking ANY further for clock parts. This was PERFECTION and installed in less than 5 minutes. Very highly recommend. Simple and clear directions. Had this clock for decades. Nice to get it back up and running.

Bought clock from Australia about 3 years ago to mount over window in great room dining area. In recent months clock was losing time and sometimes stopping. We were very disappointed since the clock looks nice on the wall and blends somewhat with the color of a wood credenza from India. Enabled us to say we had an International dining room! Finally researched on Amazon for a hanging clock replacement motor. Found this product. It was delivered very quickly, including a choice of several hour & minute hands. Old motor was easily removed and new one set in quickly using a metric socket wrench socket. Could have made the change with a pliers. Intended to use original clock hands but longer minute hand would not snap onto motor shaft. The minute hand extended beyond the diameter of the clock face. Fortunately, the minute hand extends beyond the end of the arrow. The length beyond the end of the arrow was cut off with a wire cutter. The resulting minute hand length fits right up to the edge of the clock face. The new hands are more attractive, with the arrows as compared to the blunt ends on old hands. On the back side wrote "top" to correspond with the front of the clock for attaching to the wall with the hanger on the new motor housing. We are delighted to see that the new TIKROUND motor is keeping very accurate time. The TIKROUND clock motor kit enabled restoring operation to a clock that looks elegant on the dining room wall. We were able to restore color coordination between the clock and a dining room credenza from India. The kit enabled continuing to claim having an "International Dining Room!" A lithium-ion AA battery was installed to provide a longer time between having to get up on a ladder for battery replacement. Another thing learned is the ability to build a clock onto just about anything, using the kit's motor and selection of hands!!

Nice setup since it comes with a good assortment of dials, the clock I got this for has an open face so second hand would not be good so no second hand is what I wanted. and every thing needed to setup including the metal hook. Added AA battery and worked right off the bat no issues there. The only thing is that the shaft for the hands move and wiggle around making it difficult to align the hands from rubbing against each other.... but slightly bending them I was able to get it done.

I have enjoyed my clock for over 15 years, but it stopped working after being exposed to moisture as a result of being locked in an outdoor storage unit. This repair kit saved my clock from going to the dumpster. The unit fit my clock beautifully, and I was pleased with a wide choice of hands to choose from. The color matches my old hands and appears delicate, but is actually strong. I simply added a battery and the time retention has been constantly on point. I paid $10, and considered it a great value for my money. My clock is better than ever and there is no ticking noise.

Purchased this replacement clock mechanism for my outdoor patio clock. I was going to replace the clock but for $10 I was able to keep my old clock going. The shipment comes with all the parts you'll need except for the battery. The instructions were good and replacement was simple. Be sure to measure the clock mechanism stem correctly. The stem I ordered was longer than the original and just barely cleared the glass cover when reassembled. I set the time a few days ago and it has remained accurate. Replacing the clock would have cost me around $50 so this was worth it.

Tried bringing my wall clock into a watch repair shop but they didn’t want to handle it, so I decided to try and repair it myself. Amazon had a great selection of different clock mechanisms, so picking the right one was easy. Would definitely do this again.

The item description says it’s suitable for 9-13mm thickness clock panel. My clock panel is 10mm thick and it doesn’t fit. The shaft doesn’t go through far enough. I requested a refund which they will give me but I have to pay for the return shipping myself, from Canada to the US. Very disappointed in this policy. I’ll go to the post office tomorrow to see how much it will cost but it will must likely cost as much as the product itself.
