Didn't need a museum piece nor do I plan on putting this sword to challenging use. But for my only representation of a katana, I didn't want a stainless cheese knife. Impressed with the build quality at this price. Handles well, holds an edge and hangs on the wall adroitly. Tamahagane, no. Satisfactory, yes.
