How may cosmetics does it hold

My daughter had all her makeup in a gallon baggie and it fit all of that. I’m sure it would fit more. There’s a good amount of space.

Can the liner be removed? Would prefer finish easier to wipe out.

The liner is a thin brushed velvet material that can be wiped easily with a damp cloth. It cannot be removed, but seems easy to care for so far. Hope this helps!

Is it suppose to be hard to close, ?

Mine is not hard to close. It feels secure but not overly difficult to close.
