Excellent product for high detail work
This stuff is interesting. It is the first time I ever used it. The "Hard" version of it is too tough for my old hands to work with. But oh, there was a day when I could have worked with it. So, instead, I turned around and purchased the "Medium" version of this stuff. I can work with that, but barely, but that's OK. I might try a soft version of it, but I don't want to lose the ability of casting molds of it in high detail. I'm older now, though. But oh, there was a day... This stuff is a superior product to conventional clay. I recommend it. The seller is fast, too. Excellent seller.

Great clay for Fine Detail
Chavant NSP Hard has excellent detail and workability. It is the hardest clay I know of without switching to sculpture wax. It is silky smooth and will not stick to your hands easily. It can be heated to make it more pliable. It also has great durability if you keep it clean. It could last a very long time if you keep it from picking up dust and particles. I use it with direct contact with silicone casting processes. I can attest that it will work well with silicone materials due to its sulfur free formula. It also works well with latex. It doesn't have much of a smell except maybe when heated. It's not a strong or unpleasant smell. The brown color is pretty good for general use.

Great clay! Comprable in my opinion to monster clay.
I got this clay as an alternate to monster clay because when I went to order the monster clay I couldn't find any for sale. I really enjoy this clay. It melts down very nicely if you need it for that purpose. It also holds detail very well and is a good price.

Good stuff. Really hard
Good stuff. Really hard, and therefore a bit tough to work with, but holds up perfectly when it gets moved around. We've used the hard and the medium before. The hard is good in humid weather where we live part time. The medium is softer and better in a dryer climate.

Great firm plasteline, very tacky
Great firm plasteline. This stuff is nearly the consistency of casteline when cool (a little tackier and more malleable, but not by much), but a lot easier to work with in general. If you need the modeling characteristics of a silky plasteline but like the 'idea' of more durable models and finer detail that casteline and wax offer, definitely give this stuff a go. The residue this material leaves on your tools and hands is pretty 'grippy' like casteline. Unlike casteline however, a little alcohol and soapy water attacks it well enough to clean your hands and tools without substantial heat. Edit: after working with this stuff for a month or two, I have come to the conclusion that the tackiness of this clay is too much of an impediment. It sticks to everything and requires that you use a solvent to really smooth things out.

Doesn't work with silicone molding material
It doesn't work with silicone. It won't cure around the clay. Coating it with acrylic doesn't work either, it has a reaction and a zillion little champaign bubble. They need to stop saying it works with silicone because it's sulfur free, it doesn't.
