I find that StarTech makes good products and this was no exception. I needed to replace the cord on a power supply (couldn't find the old one) and this was a perfect replacement. It is as described on the web site. I found this cord to be tough - feels like it is made of higher-quality rubber/plastic that will last a long time and not fray.

After researching, I bought this 14AWG power cable, and it’s been working perfectly ever since. My PSU is 1050 watts, and this thicker cable is exactly what I needed to ensure efficient and safe power delivery. If you’re buying this for your PSU, make sure to check your PSU’s wattage and find the appropriate AWG. Lower AWG cables (thicker ones) are crucial for high-wattage PSUs, as they handle more current with less resistance. Higher AWG cables (like 18AWG) are thinner and cheaper but can create too much resistance, which isn’t ideal for higher wattage systems. I’ve been using this 14AWG cable for months without any problems. The only minor issue I’ve noticed is that the connection where the cable plugs into the wall outlet is a bit loose. This power cable is nice and thick which makes it strong. I'm using it on a 300w powered speaker. I needed a cable that can handle some light traffic by the musicians and myself. I like having multiple sizes. I find it safer using one long 25ft cable instead of using extension cords which can disconnect. It's easy to use. I laid it down and it didn't curl on me.
