Believe it or not I spent quite a bit of time researching mops on Amazon before choosing this one. My motivation? Really grew to dislike buying mops at the grocery store that seem to last only a year or so before the plastic sponge holder breaks. I have been using sponge-head mops for years and was about to buy one of the newer pad-style mops when I came across this one. I was glad because I'm not really sure I'm on board with the pad-style mops. I've been using this for almost six months now. This mop fits the bill for many of the features I wanted: Quality materials - I'm a guy and this mop doesn't disappoint here. Feels quite sturdy and well-made. HINT - one thing I've learned is to change my use of bleach. I used to use a weak bleach solution on my linoleum floor because I found bleach allowed me to get a lot more mileage out of my sponges (I'm guessing because bleach killed bacteria that would otherwise grow in the damp sponge and break it down). What I forgot to consider is that dunking a mop into a bleach solution would eventually cause corrosion where the steel handle met the plastic sponge holder. At some point if the plastic holder didn't give out first, the handle would eventually break at that corroded point. This company rightly warns to avoid using bleach, but what I've done is switch to dish soap for the linoleum floor and I still hit the sponge with a weak bleach solution after each mopping session to extend the life of the sponge. I make sure to rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove the bleach residue from the sponge and plastic rollers that serve to squeeze excess water from the sponge. This way I kind of get the best of both worlds. Height-adjustable - I'm 6' 2" and it's really nice to be able to extend this thing out to the max so I'm not bent over at all during use. The grocery store mops (at least in my area) NEVER have this feature. Wringing mechanism - Again, quality materials here. Very easy to wring and no worries I'm going to break the plastic sponge holder using brute force like with the clamshell-style sponge mops I've used for years. Also, the handle for the wringer is located higher up on the mop handle so it's less awkward wringing the mop. Squeegee/brush attachment - I haven't used it much in practice and I actually keep it off the mop because I hang the it on a wall in a high traffic area and it sticks out too much with the attachment (but I would keep it on otherwise). For me, the squeegee in particular is a nice option to have. I had no problem assembling this and the instructions were fairly clear as I recall, but I'm also pretty handy and I could see some people having some trouble with assembly. Overall, I am really happy with this mop. I bought with 3 sponges and don't foresee needing any more for quite some time even with weekly use. The only thing I like a bit less about this mop is the sponges themselves are a more open-celled type than I typically used in the past. I have to wring the sponge more than once or it applies more water than I prefer. I think this is necessary because the roller-style wringing mechanism likely would not work as well with a denser sponge. My only other concern is how long I'll be able to get sponge refills because I think this mop is going to last for some years. That's a good problem to have in my book.

The squeeze handle moves a lot while mopping so it's really loud. Otherwise this is a great mop. It wrings out well, cleans nicely, and doesn't foam your water too much. I will absolutely consider getting it again if it breaks. The replacement heads were reasonably priced, too. Oh, and you don't have to put the squeegee part on it so you can use it in smaller places. Big plus over the store brand ones. Love!

I purchased this mop from Amazon in late December 2019. For nowadays, the build quality and design are very good; it looks and works like the day I purchased it. The sponge is also damn good, holds up, has very good absorption and wring out, and it's a snap to remove and place a new one on. I saw a few negative reviews saying that you can't purchase replacement heads--hmmmm, I had mine since 2019 and just purchased two new ones here on Amazon. I think I know better than most what I'm talking about; before retirement I was a product designer and one of my accounts was Quickie manufacturing. I designed and package quite a lot of there products from mops and brooms to hand brushes during the 1970s to late 1980s. By the way, I saw a photo of a disgruntled customer holding a disintegrated sponge head. The problem was not the sponge but how she used and cared for it. Use too much bleach, keep the sponge in a bucket not allowing it to air dry and a few other irresponsible actions will make any sponge deteriorate. Just make sure you immerse and wring-out the residue from the sponge a few times, hang it up with the sponge facing away from the wall allowinging it to air dry. It should give you very good service, Sadly, like most other household products, product quality is not what it once was but again, for today, you won't find much better. And by the way, remove the damn scrubbing head (it slides right off). Like all other sponge mops, this scrubbing attachment is useless and will just get in your way.

This is our second one of these. The first one we bought the roller pins rusted and the mop would no longer wring out the sponge effectively. Since we bought so many refills with the first mop we decided to get another. This time I will oil these roller pins regularly. If this company would make these pins out of stainless steel it would get 5 stars from me.

I'd post a pic, but that would mean exposing my mess to the world so you'll just have to trust me on this. I bought the mop after realizing that cleaning cat fur off my rugs would be easier if I did it with a sponge mop. I've spent decades using cellulose sponges to get fur off of cushions, fabric, and rugs and it works better than just about everything else on the market except for lint rollers (which I try to use very sparingly). I've got 4 cats in a 900 sq ft space with all wood floors so the fur collects very quickly on anything that attracts it. I am very pleased to report that my mop idea works better than imagined. No more scooting along on my knees to do this twice a week task. Yay. And as a bonus there's the scrubber brush which I was able to use to scrape out cat barf. I look forward to using it again to clean the out of the windows with the sponge and squeegee. Anyone else with furry creatures in their carpet free houses might also benefit. At the very least you could repurpose it for washing windows on high or any other number of cleaning activities. Enjoy.

Surprised this mop has so many favorable reviews. First and foremost, the design is awful. The squeegee along the top of the mop protrudes so far out that it is impossible to fit the mop under kitchen cabinets by the kick-plates. I have to get on my knees with a cloth to clean the tiles under the cabinets. Also, I don't know if it is just the one I received or my floor, but when I push it forward it moves smoothly and when I bring it back toward me it basically vibrates and does not move nicely. The mop head is on correctly but it only seems to work nicely when you move it forward, not backward. A complete waste of my money. I'm buying a new mop.

I use a sponge mop to clean my walls. This is the 3rd one since the other mops didn’t last very long. This mop is sturdy and I like the squeegy attachment. Didn’t think I was going to use the attachment but it came in handy. I purchased replacement mop heads and changing it was a little tricky. You need strength to press the button and pull out the sponge. To replace you need to press the end of the sponge so the bracket is inserted in the the grooves of the mop and slide in. So far very happy with this mop.

It works very well, but the angle on the head doesn't allow it to go under furniture.

Good for my use which is to remove water spills. The sponge design makes it to dry quickly without any musty smell like the PVA sponge heads. But the sponge head may be less durable compared to other conventional mops.
