So it’s imported wood from the US but made in China?

On Amazon, there are no wood hangers made in the USA. There are only plastic and some plastic over metal (Bend & Hook brand) that are actually made in the USA. If the listing does not tout "Made in the USA" clearly on any listing, you can bet your bottom dollar that the item is NOT made in the USA. If you want wooden hangers actually made in the USA, you will have to pay a premium, but it can be done. Usually, made in the USA wooden hangers will cost around $15.00 - $25.00 per hanger, but it's worth that price, at least to me.

How long does the cedar smell last? Does it go away after awhile?

I don't detect much of a smell to the hanger unless you actually "sniff" if

Are these true cedars? eastern red cedar (juniperus virginiana) and western red cedar (thuja plicata) are not true cedars.

All I can say is that they smell like cedars.

Why is the 20 pack more expensive? The 12 pack is 50€ per a hanger while the 20 pack is 52€ per a hanger.

The 12 pack is 23.99 US dollars, 1.99 US dollars per hanger. The 20 pack is 37.99 US dollars, 1.89 US dollars per hanger which is more cheaper than the 12 pack.
