A rebozo is a traditional Mexican cloth which looks like a cross between a scarf and a shawl. Like ponchos, huipils and sarapes they are classic Mexican garments. A rebozo is long enough to wrap around a woman's body and can be used in pregnancy and labour by midwives, doulas and support people as a comfort measure and to encourage babies into an optional position. Because of the nature of the garment, especially the fringes, they should be hand washed. The dye may or may not be colorfast so mild soap should be used

Beautiful More Than Functional
Beautiful rebozo, but has a few drawbacks:1. Short. This rebozo is good for thinner moms, but is too short to use adequately for larger women.2. The fabric snags easily. I have snagged mine in several places and while it's easy to pull and put the thread back in its place, it is annoying and takes away from the beauty of the cloth.3. It's almost plasticy. The fibers are not soft and make a noise when the cloth is stretched.I'm not sure how it washes as I have not yet used it during labor, but it seems as if the tassels will tangle dreadfully. Have not proven that though. All in all, it is beautiful, but it's beautiful more than it's functional.

Really Nice, but strange smell and texture upon arrival.
I really like this rebozo, and plan on using it for labor and delivery. Upon arrival there was a terrible chemical smell, but after washing it went away. Also, I did experience a plastic gritty fiber kind of feeling but I put it in the dryer with a dryer sheet and it went away. Overall I am very pleased with the quality of the rebozo, it feels nice (and smells nice) after washing and I love the color!

Colors are dull in person, not great quality fabric
I ordered the purple and it was so much more dull in color in person. The golden color looks more like a dusty beige. The purple color is also a more cool-toned violet rather than a warm purple like the picture. I agree with another reviewer that when you touch the fabric you can feel and hear the plasticy nature of the non-cotton fibers. I just don’t feel that this brings me the joy and satisfaction I was expecting for $40 so I am returning.

Beautiful, well worth it
So gorgeous! I bought it to use for pregnancy and instead ended up using it as a runner for my kitchen table. It's really high quality, just gorgeous. I get compliments on it often. I would buy more in other colors if needed, it's truly lovely. Would make a great gift.

Not same colors and bad really bad smell.....!!!!
Not what I expected!! As soon open the package a horrible and funky strong smell came out from the box and colors not the same as advertised...🤷🏻♀️😏kind of disappointed 😔
