Gives a beautiful Gloss finish
This product is designed to work with Deks Olje 1 which works as a solvent for 2. So first buy and apply 1, let it soak in and give a good base. Second apply 2, it has the consistency of honey, it will dry glossy and water-proof. Third, once 2 has been in use, if it gets scratched up or otherwise weathered, apply 1 to act as a solvent and it will "heal" any scratches or weathering on your wood. The surface will look like new. I have used this stuff for more than 30 years and strongly recommend it.

I have used this for years on my boat and have not found anything with a finish this beautiful. I started with Snappy Teak 1 which is sodium hydroxide (potassium hydroxide works just as well) to clean off the old finish. Wear gloves and eye protection (it will literally eat a hole in your fingers and you'll wonder where the blood came from because you won't feel it and it will blind you if you get it in your eyes). Wet the real and lightly scrub with brush. Rinse well with water and apply snappy teak 2 which will brighten to a nice blonde color. Once dry, paint with deks olje 1. Let dry and apply several coats of deks olje 2. Allow each coat to dry. Absolutely stunning. To keep it looking great you will probably need to apply deks olje 2 periodically thruout the year depending on how harsh the environment is.

Sehr gutes Produkt
Ich streiche schon seit Jahren meine Holzfenster mit Owatrol und habe das Produkt schon mehrfach bestellt. Zuerst das Holz mit D1sättigen und danach mit einer Schicht D2 überstreichen. Das Ergebis ist super. Die Oberfläche sieht top aus und das Holz ist perfekt geschützt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Outstanding product
I used this product on a 1947 clinker row boat and it looks brilliant. I used it 2 years ago and it has lasted very well and I will apply another coat to the inside pre launch to help maintain it.
