These are seriously amazing. Heavy and sharp. Super high-quality metal and construction. These definitely feel like lifetime tools, like they should've cost at least double what they did. I ordered these and a fancy tool roll to put them in as a gift for my husband, and he loves the set. If you're new to bonsai like us and looking for quality pruning essentials that don't cost a car note, I'd highly recommend!

GREAT QUALITY

As a Bonsai beginner I wanted good tools so as to get good results, but I couldn't justify an expensive professional set. I went with this 6 piece set and am glad I did over a 4 or 5 piece. No idea when I'll use the trunk splitter but now it's there if I do. I liked that the manufacturer showed individual photos naming each tool because, as I said I'm a beginner. Nice touch I thought. The stainless used is not like your kitchen sink. There are different grades and these may show rust as some have pointed out. This is avoidable. I recommend a tool roll. Tougher to find an appropriate one than you would think due to the width of each tool , so a square piece of pliable leather or a chamois will work. Set the tools in the center, fold the bottom up and the top down and then roll it. Simple and cheap. I also keep these clean with isopropyl alcohol which disinfects as well as cuts through fresh pine pitch, and oil them after use as I put them away. If it's really humid you can keep them in a toolbox with old desiccant pouches. Sharp, good proportions, and they feel good in my hand. Very happy and not at all the reason why my plants suffer. ; )

It is fantastic to find a good set of bonsai tools medium size for this price BUT the pruning shears need some sharpening or a diamond dust sharpening file for it. Also the pivoting points are stiff so I had to put some lubricant on them and the knob cutter gets rust on the inside part where the iron is not stainless. This taking care of the tools, having them on a dry 0 humidity place after cleaning and sanitizing them. Regardless of this details I totally recommend this item 100%. They are an excelente set.

Quality! All the tools have perfect construction, every thing is precise . The steel is a high grade allowing the precision. Every chance at quality they produced it. I recommend these tools they will exceed your needs.

Accidentally left these outside. No rust at all. Where is every penny, I would buy them again but I don't think I Will ever need to.

Really a great set of tools for any serious Bonsaï lover or even for any other plant gardening. Amazing quality for the price and will last forever if you keep them clean every use. I Don’t regret it and they are very sharp. Great product.
