We spent ages looking at a variety of beds ranging from £400 to £1,200 but they all seemed too expensive for my tight purse. Storage was important but each time we spoke to a member of the traditional stores staff they instilled all the virtues of a bed plus it was delivered and fitted for that price. Returning home we chose to look online and found this bed on many of the high street stores but again for £250 upwards with the exception of this seller. Now the old adage is "too good to be true" echoed as we read the reviews. Well I have to say that these reviews were spot on. It is an excellent bed, well manufactured. The only reviews I would disagree with are the ones referring to the confusing instructions. As far as I am concerned they were very clear, it took about 2 hours to install at a pace that suited me and my frozen shoulder. Plus for the 2 hours I spent it was considerably cheaper than buying direct from the traditional retail stores and I was still able to buy from a UK based company, an added bonus! Overall I would say that this bed is superb for storage, well priced, moderately easy to construct and supports a UK business.

Great ottoman bed at a fantastic price. The assembly was slightly tricky but I managed to complete it all in around 1 and a half hours on my own. The storage is quite limited inside but you can can store lots if it isn’t too high. So lower storage boxes or lay things flat is best. The storage has a material sheet that sits on your floor. This is fine if on the first floor. If you are using this on a ground floor it could cause damp issues. I would recommend buying a cheap ratchet set for the assembly it will cut the time required massively to make it up. It is sturdy and does not have any dents or defects. Well made. Looks like it will last long. The lift on the bed isn’t very high but enough to get your items in and out. As you won’t really be opening and closing too often this should not be an issue. For the price I think this is a fantastic buy and highly recommended.

The bed was extremely well packaged on arrival. The instructions were easy to follow. The pieces are very heavy so you definitely need two people for assembly. One of the corner screws would not fit in place but there were two other screws in the same position so ample enough to hold the headboard in place. The components of the bed were handily stored inside the headboard which was accessed by a zipper. My teenager loves this zipper as it is storage as long as you don't damage the material. The base does not lift or close unless you have the mattress on the bed; and takes quite a bit of pressure to use for a while. You must stand at the bottom of the bed and pull or press against the end rail centrally; the pistons are extremely strong. The only draw back with assembling the bed was that we had to climb under the top metal parts to fit the three cross bars. The metal arms with the piston attached had to be placed in an upright position in the beginning during assembly; some awkward positioning to reach the screws. Overall a very good bed. The service was amazing, it arrived within days of purchase, the only problem I had was that Amazon stated that the company will contact me to arrange delivery within the timeframe given; I received a text to state that my delivery was on its way and I was given a tracking app to follow its progress. On the day of delivery I received another text to say it would be delivered today between a certain time. They were more than happy to delivery it to my neighbour as I was not home. Better arrangements could have been made with a telephone call in advance or Amazon should change the information given.

Really impressed with the small double bed that I bought for my son. 2 of us took a good couple of hours to assemble. The instructions, unfortunately, are not very clear - mainly very small diagrams. It looks great and is very sturdy - although I am concerned that the gas lift arms are not secure, but I shall have another look to see if it was operator error - although I saw nothing on the diagrams about securing them. The only niggle I have is with delivery. Amazon told me to expect the bed on Tuesday 24th, but it actually turned up on Thursday 19th - it was only fluke that I was in to receive delivery. All in all, very pleased with my purchase - and so is my son :) Edit: the gas lift arms are secure, it was a long day and I hadn't fitted them exactly right. I meant to update, but forgot :)

This king size bed is awesome, very easy to assemble (instructions very simple), has a huge storage space underneith being a king size. This is the third one we have ordered and cant praise it enough. Strong (although i wouldnt let kids jump on it) and very sturdy. Superb for the price.

So far I like the look of this bed however putting the bed together was a different story, the instructions don’t give you any indication on what to do all they say is for this part you need to use these bolts and this Allan key etc, the base of the bed was straight forward and ok to assemble however it’s when you get to the frame of the bed where things get complicated, what they should have said in the instruction is that the frame has to be assembles in a certain way otherwise when you get to the end you will have to take it back down again and start over. There are identical pieces in which can be fitted at either end with no indication as to which side they should be. I had to disassemble the frame twice because I would get to then end and find out I needed a hole to fit to the frame which was not there because the bars were the wrong way round , overall so far the bed seems really good, a lot of space in the storage compartment but the Velcro cover that comes with it is not very sturdy, I already have 2 holes in it just from putting items inside. Headboard seems of good quality also.

Bought this bed for my lodger, she absolutely loves it and says the storage is perfect! The price is so reasonable and the quality is good. Not sure why there are reviews saying it is hard to assemble as we had great fun putting it together - it did take the full hour and a half because a couple of the screws were quite stiff but other than that there were no difficulties. Heads up though, when the instructions say “when trying to put the bed back down for the first time it will be stiff” they really mean it! But don’t be afraid to put some weight behind you, as long as you are pushing centrally it will close.

This bed is cheap and nasty after my little girl was looking forward to her new bed we assembled it. The last peace’s that were due bed pistons found that weren’t working plus the end of the frame Wasn’t sitting in properly In the end and wasn’t stable as if you’d sat down it wouldn’t have taken any weight what so ever and would have collapsed. We then had to disassemble it again. ANYWAY IT WAS A FAULTY BED. called the seller directly and I explained what problem was they said that I needed to take photos / video so I explained look I’ve assembled it and it was faulty then disassembled it and packed it all up. They replied they couldn’t organize a collection or refund as they needed that evidence. Not very helpful or understanding at all. As if that’s what I do in my spare time assemble and disassemble beds for the fun of it and have a little upset girl who was looking forward to having her new bed Called AMAZON who are always helpful They said that an enquiry and a complaint procedure with. MATTRESS GURU will take place and that they are going to file a complaint with MATTRESS. GURU. and also take them off the AMAZON WEBSITE. I am totally disgraced with the response I got from MATTRESS. GURU. at a point that she got me so frustrated when she said we’ve had allot of customers saying that the pistons don’t work and don’t go down ( so they are aware that it’s a cheap bed )but you have to leave it up 72 hours when I responded well where was my child going to sleep up in the ceiling she then replied well in that case we need photographic evidence so you either call amazon or send photos in to us. What a DISGRACE. That would mean that I would have had to assemble the bed again and hope that you yourself don’t cause any damage before they wash they’re hands and say it’s your fault for breaking it as that is what I think they want. SO NOW A DISPUTE BETWEEN AMAZON AND MATTRESS GURU. ( and I’m still awaiting my refund and bed to be picked up 😫😫😫 ) Please please spend £30 more but DONT. BUY. THIS. BED I only bought it because of the size as it was the only bed that fit into my girls bedroom as I’m limited with space. But quality wise it’s cheap and true for what they say. YOU GET. WHAT YOU PAY. FOR. CHEAP. AND. CRAP. Would I have had a bit extra bedroom space I would have paid more for a better quality bed. DONT . BUY. FROM. MATTRESS. GURU.
