awesome solution for vehicle shades!
We have been looking for a solution to giving the kids who sit in the back more shade. We tried a whole bunch of things, from suction cup shades to DIY type solutions. Never had anything that really worked and was reliable. Thankfully, we found these stretchable sun shades. In short, they are working wonderfully! We have a Nissan Rogue and the shades are a little on the large side with a little give, but they still fit well with no problems. The effect is a dark shade that has a big effect on the sunlight that comes into the car. This makes it less hot in the interior as well as less glare. This is all we were looking for. We have had it for a few months now and it has held up as well as it did on the first day. They come on and off easily. Trips are much more comfortable for the kids in the back now which makes mom and dad happy campers. It doesn't prevent looking out the window at all. Here is a little side benefit: Mom has to sometimes breastfeed the baby and sitting in the back gives a lot of privacy that without the shades would be easy to see in the car. This was a nice bonus. Probably one of the best purchases we've made for the car and for not much money. Extremely happy and highly recommended!

Covertly Spying
I can finally pick my nose with the windows down!!! But seriously, I bought 4 of them (2 pair). Two of them I put on my front windows (removed when driving). They work. I'm able to keep my windows down, provide ventilation, reduce the sun from getting in. But that's not even the best part. What I like most about them is the fact that when all 4 are on, I can sit in a parking lot, for example, roll the windows down and no one can see me, and they assume no one is nearby and can hear them. They don't know I'm there. It feels like I'm invisible, and it is interesting to watch and to listen to how people act when they think no one is looking. Keep in mind they're in public and so I'm doing nothing wrong. But I feel like I'm getting away with something and that's just fun. I love these things. They're not designed for your front windows. They wouldn't fit mine if I hadn't cut a hole in them for my side mirrors to fit through. But once they're on, they look like dark window tinting. Of course if there's light coming through from they other side window, it makes seeing through them easier, but still it's hard to make out any detail on the inside, even in broad daylight. So the windows are down, mosquitoes kept away, ventilation maxed out, sun reduced significantly, and I feel like a spy. This is right up my alley! Practical AND fun. Although, for some reason I was under the impression that they unzipped on the inside. I'm not sure what gave me that idea. They do not, though. But I drive a Volkswagen Passat and they fit like a glove. Highly recommended, especially for car campers. Note: when it comes to durability, I can't be sure yet. But as long as this review hasn't been updated with additional information, you can bet that it's still working. If it rips or falls apart, I'll be sure to update this review. Update: It does rip quite easily after a while. They're thin and brittle like panty hose, especially after being left in the sun for long periods of time.

I had to get used to the look because it doesn't blend in as nicely as the advertised pictures for us
These work well for the intended purpose...keeping the sun out of our boys eyes, and keeping them cooler in an SUV without rear air vents. We have a 2004 Xterra, so big square doors, but these stretch to fit and *mostly* cover it. I had to get used to the look because it doesn't blend in as nicely as the advertised pictures for us...the "border" of our doors is painted white, not black like a lot of more modern vehicles...so its obvious that there is something wonky going on...not in a bad way, just makes you look twice, which a LOT of people have done. Another potential issue is that the rear door handles are up on the side beside the window, not in the door below the window like most vehicles. I just slide them right down over the handles and since the material is stretchy, you can still open the doors fine. This may cause some weakness in the material there over time, but for the $15 I spent on these for happy sun-free days in the meantime, its worth it! We have had them for a month so far, had to remove them a couple times, and all seems well to-date. Handle rain (dry right off) and direct sun just fine. An added benefit for me is being able to put the rear windows down without removing it, and it keeps the randomly thrown cars, fruit loops and stuffed animals from flying out "on accident". Mom WIN!

LoveLife 2.0
Fits well on my Chevrolet Impala (2006-2012 style model). The trim below the window of my car extends out a little past the door on either edge and allows the elastic to grab on and stay down even while driving on the highway. The product is simple yet efficient for more than just its advertised usage... "What other uses," you may ask. For those inclined towards a romantic backseat hookup, these ShadeSox will do wonders for your love life. Even during the bright of day you simply cannot see through the side windows (do mind the people staring through your rear windshield, however). They are also helpful at night: standing a foot away with a flashlight shining directly at your windows you cannot see through them at all; the light simply illuminates the mesh of your ShadeSox. Forget worrying about those nosy neighbors walking their dogs! Pros- *Easy to use: quickly installed, quickly removed. *Provides shade and privacy in the backseat of the car. *Remains up while your windows are down. Cons- *You may faintly hear the wind on the fabric while driving (with windows up). *It can be difficult to check your blind spots through the fabric (over left shoulder).

Easy to install.

Good fit and easy to install - just make sure you try both ways as the shades are not square. Only problem is they take forever to arrive and I should have known as this is the second set I’ve bought and first ones took a week longer than promised. This time lost in mail and had to be resent from seller.
