I specifically bought this USB-C hub to run my Oculus Rift CV1 headset and sensors. I am running my VR on a Gaming Laptop with three sensors but my Laptop cannot run all the USBs at once. Over a year back I bought a cheap, mains-powered USB hub but experienced the same problems. Since then I had resigned myself to the fact it was probably the Laptop's fault and all but abandoned VR Gaming.This week I became interested again and after some fiddling around on the other powered USB hub, I was able to play for a few hours. Came back to it the day after and I could not get them all to settle and detect again.A quick Google search lead me to posts and videos of others with the problem which lead me to people'a suggestions. This was not one them - I could not find those old versions.So I took a gamble on this one, thinking if it didn't work I could just return it. I wasn't really aware how much power could be gotten from USB-C and I still wasn't sure it wasn't my Laptop.It arrived. I plugged it in to the USB-C port and connected all my sensors. Detected. Waited a while - No disconnects. Hopeful, I tried a game. Working!I have had one drop since yesterday but that was the headset and wasn't connected to the hub but I think that is an issue with my machine rather than this device.I spent a good few hours in VR and it worked without an issue. I'm happy with it. I'm gutted I didn't look more into this when I first started having issues! It powers my sensors and handles the data transfer without issue (which is what I believe the issie with cheaper ones are).Ultimately if you have VR and you're looking for something that will allow you to connect up and run your sensors, this is it.It looks nice, feels good to touch and is nice and light. It doesn't have any power lights on it that stay shining when in use.

I like the product, it feels well made... however I had a few issues.- it doesn’t like all three USB ports being used. I plugged in a mouse, a usb stick and an iPhone cable (only for charging). This caused the mouse to stop working and the iPhone to stop charging. Taking one out fixed the problem.- it gets VERY hot.- sometimes the mouse will stop registering. I needed to keep unplugging the usb receiver and usb stick until it registered the mouse again. Very frustrating.UPDATE:Seller contacted me and offered a replacement as they believed my issue was a fault. Replacement works as it should, so very happy with that.

This device is great. It produces a high quality smooth picture. It didn't produce any picture with my Samsung Galaxy A71 but keyboard and mouse control still worked through the device. Had this a while now and a bit of a mixed bag view in it. It's well built, plenty of inputs and it connects to HDMI easily, but the main issue is power. Looking at other reviews, it may be an issue with the unit I have , and I'm aware it's not a charger as such, but when connected to a power source and then used as a HDMI link between a phone and a TV ( I'm using it for Zwift cycling app), you can see on the phone that it's picking up a charge, or at least it thinks it is, but the phone doesn't hold the charge and rapidly loses power - relative to what it's being used for.I've tested this by plugging the phone directly into the same power source and instead of connecting with the hub, I've cast the images to the TV. The power icon shows and the level stays at 100% or charges up to 100% if not there already. Swith it back through the hub, power drops off.Casting doesn't allow me to do other things, I was hoping by running through this hub I'd have the solution, but sadly it's not the product I hoped for. Maybe the issue is with it being generic and not fully compatible with a phone, any solutions welcomed.

This cable fulfilled literally all my needs as a Dell XPS 13 user, with only 3 USB-C ports, one of which is always being used by the charging cable at home!The seller is lovely and very responsive. I bought this cable and received a faulty one unfortunately, where the external display would occasionally cut out. I contacted the seller regarding this and he supplied a replacement cable which worked flawlessly! Would definitely recommend! Shout out to Joe to handling my issue!

Worked great for a while, but stopped working after normal use

Easy to use, working well, accepts my "old-style" USB hard drives. Only minor niggle I have is that the power out on the USB-C socket may be a little bit low (update: this could be due to the way I connected - in which case the manual could be much clearer). Otherwise very good.Update about 12 months later: It appears that the USB-C output port is power delivery only (no data). I bought it because I wanted a hub with USB-C data and USB-3 ports. I'm sure that it briefly met that requirement but now it appears that the USB-C output port (labelled "PD") is power only. At first I thought it was my cable and changing that did seem to work for a while but the second cable won't connect now either. As both cables work fine when directly connected to the PC's "C" port, I conclude it's the hub that's got the problem.The USB-3 ports seem to be ok (haven't tried he HDMI). But as I want to connect a USB-C drive and a USB-3 drive at the same time, I think I'm going to have to replace it. For those interested, I think you could plug this in between the PC power supply and the PC power in, which would in my case free up a USB-C data port on the other side - but I'd really prefer to have all the external concections on a single hub. I mean, I thought that's what the idea was?

Credo che per i possessori di mac sia un must have vista la generosità della apple in termini di porte. Nulla da aggiungere, funziona benissimo e trova mille applicazioni.

Todo perfecto, no es muy grande y funciona perfectamente con un portátil Fujitsu Lifebook U747. El puerto HDMI funciona sin problemas a pesar de que el portátil no tiene HDMI (tiene DisplayPort), los puertos USB también sin problemas y me carga el portatil por el USB-C (Power Delivery), no viene con alimentador, tienes que comprarte uno de 87W.

Fonctionne pas comme certains adaptateurs
