We started using Biokleen Natural Laundry Detergent in October 2025, and I can confidently say this has been one of the best household switches we’ve made! With a family of five my husband and I, two teenage girls, and an 11-year-old boy, we go through a *lot* of laundry. Everyone does their own clothes, plus we’re constantly washing sheets, towels, and blankets, so finding something that actually lasts and works well is a huge deal for us. Before this, we were using Tide powder because liquid detergent just disappeared way too fast in our house. We liked the Tide Sport version especially (teenagers!), but it was hard to consistently find in powder form. So I decided to give Biokleen a try and I’m so glad I did. We bought our first bottle at the beginning of October 2025, and now it’s the beginning of April 2026… and we still have about a quarter of the bottle left! That alone is incredible considering we do around 8–10 loads of laundry every single week. The concentrated formula really delivers on its promise and has saved us both time and money. When I actually broke down the cost, I was even more impressed. Based on our usage, we’re on track to get about 312 loads out of one bottle in our home. At $42 per bottle, that comes out to roughly 13–14 cents per load, which is a great value compared to most detergents we’ve used before especially for the quality and how long it lasts. For a big, busy household like ours, that kind of value really adds up. Even more importantly, the cleaning power is amazing. Our clothes come out consistently clean and fresh, even with active kids and busy schedules. And as someone who is very sensitive to smells, I truly appreciate how balanced the scent is (citrus). It leaves laundry smelling great without being overpowering no heavy perfumes or lingering artificial fragrance. It’s just clean, fresh, and subtle, which is exactly what I want. I also love that it’s plant-based and safe for kids and pets, with no artificial colors (have a kid with a dye allergy) or preservatives. That peace of mind is a huge bonus for our family. We love this product so much and will absolutely continue using it for a very long time. If you’re looking for a detergent that lasts forever, works incredibly well, and is incredibly cost-effective with a light, clean scent, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

This is our go-to laundry soap for our family of 8. It will not make your clothes smell amazing, will not bleach them super white and shiny, and will not leave you sniffing your outfit like the other detergent commercials suggest you should. What it will do is clean your clothes, not leave a discernable scent, and will not break the bank as far as low-chemical detergents are concerned. I do laundry every single day, multiple loads, and I generally purchase it every 3.5 months. So, with 6 kids 13 and under, plus a dog, you figure out if the math there is good for you, but as far as clean+budget+avoiding unnecessary chemicals, it's a win for this family!!

I love that this is a more natural detergent and totally effective! It dissolves normal and is very easy to use. It always come with a taped top and has never leaked in shipping. It is a little more expensive but lasts a long time and it’s not necessary to use more than suggested because it works!

I had used the orange version of this detergent before, and really liked the value and cleanliness of the clothes, but wanted to knock out some summer odors from them so decided to try this version. It has a strong initial odor, which is rather herbal. However once it was cleaned and dried the scent was only slightly there and the sweat smell was gone completely. Still no problems with skin itching or rash, still rinses clean. If you have gym clothes, stinky teenagers or hard workers of any kind, I would definitely give this a try!

I have mixed feelings about this detergent. It's skin and environment friendly, it has a mild pleasant scent, it's cost-effective, and it's readily available in stores in a pinch. However, in terms of it's actual cleaning ability, which is arguably one, if not the most, important consideration, it's hit or miss. On your everyday dirty laundry (aka daily clothing, shower and hand towels, bedding), it does it's job. Everything comes out clean, smelling fresh, and lacks that white residue that can sometimes happen with "green" detergents. Now, on your especially dirty, funky, or stained laundry (e.g. gym clothes, food/blood/grease/oil stains, "my toddler likes to take a bath in the dirt" clothing, fabric dye stains, and anything involving mildew), it fails miserably. Despite trying various methods and settings with this detergent, the stains and smells are still there! I try to pre-treat the stains best I can, but that's hard to do in our busy household with a toddler. I have ended up having to use a different, more-pricey product to deal with this part of the laundry, which as you can imagine, is both frustrating and time consuming. At the end of the day, I'm torn. On one hand, it meets all my requirements for a detergent; on the other hand, it only meets 2/3rds of my "cleaning" needs. Before I give up on this brand, I’ve decided to try the Sports version as I’m hoping that will pack the extra punch and leave all my laundry smelling and looking great.

Seems to clean my bamboo sheets and linen and cotton blankets/comforters well. I use all natural detergent on my bedding stuff, but not clothes as its just too expensive for every load especially on clothes that see no benefits of it vs bedding that does, especially bamboo bedding. This detergent cleans bamboo sheets extremely well and can get them smelling great. Big bottle and you only need a small amount. The cap does spill after using to measure occasionally

I’m on my second bottle and it cleans clothes well. Not much of a scent is left and it completely deodorizes smells. If it truly is as natural as it claims this is an excellent product. I have sensitive skin and had no reactions to this product
