We cook frozen pizza as often as once a week. It's always been a problem getting the pizza off the oven grill. Someone suggested this item. All I can say is - it works great! It's very easy to remove the pizza from the hot oven without wearing a mitt and using whatever I can. The folding handle makes it easy to store and it's also really easy to clean.

We have used this item 3 times now and have been satisfied with it. It is sturdy enough to lift and remove our pizza and pizza stone together. Allowing the remainder of the pizza to stay warm till our return. The collapsible handle makes for easier storage in our drawer. I would recommend this product.

This pizza peel is very well designed. I absolutely love that the wood handle of this pizza peel is removable! This saves space for storage when not in use and prevents the wood from warping and splitting from moisture when washing the aluminum surface. I only gave it 4 stars for ease of use and overall not because it's necessarily a difficult product or even a bad product, but because there is some finesse involved and skill needed to successfully transfer a raw dough pizza from the peel to a hot pizza stone. More than a few of our round pizzas lost their toppings, became ovals or developed holes in the crust from sticking to the peel when we didn't slide off the pizzas correctly or neglected to put the right amount of flour or cornmeal between the peel and the crust to help it slide. One simple solution is to put parchment paper beneath the crust and just use the peel as a giant spatula, then place the parchment directly on the pizza stone. It slides with ease.

I like that the handle comes off and I can store it. It's wide and does a great job getting pizzas in and out of the oven. Tip- use parchment paper for your pizzas. After 7 minutes turn the pizza a little and then pull the parchment out and continue cooking.

I made one of these for my wife out of wood because she really wanted it. Then she decided that the one I made was too pretty to use. Which completely defeated the purpose of making one. So I ordered this off the amazons. It showed up two days later, as the amazon do. It comes apart so the wooden handle doesn't have to hit the wash which will keep it alive much longer. It is also useful for storage as it makes the footprint a little smaller. We have yet to make a pizza it can't hold. We haven't gone full Chicago style mind you but I wouldn't doubt it is robust enough for that if your wrist is strong enough on the other end. I would say it is fantastic at a price that didn't make me regret making one that now hangs on the wall as art.

I bought this to work with my new tabletop pizza over. Works great. handle folds down for easy storage. I can even pack it in the over when needed. Its very sturdy, and work well for pizza's up to 12 inches.

Nice sturdy pizza peel, well made and worth getting. Needed a 12” peel for my new portable pizza oven and this is perfect with folding handle. Easy to clean

2 years later and still use this to transfer bagels and pizza to and from my steel. Becomes compact for storage which I absolutely LOVE
